Young Family Dental Riverton

I went into young family dental today for a cleaning and check. The staff was very friendly and kind. Leah did a great job cleaning my teeth and was very kind.

This is the WORST dental office I have ever been to. They have made me terrified of ever going to any dental office or of getting any future work done..
I came to them with a cavity that had turned into an abscess in my mouth. I needed a root canal. I have Insurance, but I told them I just wanted it pulled. They put me through this 2 hour long process of running my Insurance and talking me out of pulling my tooth so that they could perform a root canal. Well, I gave in. They said my insurance would cover it and I would be okay.
They had new people practicing on me, I remember the girl having her superior come in and asked him "Hey did I do okay? Will you check this out?" WHILE she was working on my teeth. Then looked at me and said "Sorry I'm still new." She didn't bother to cover the tooth after, they just left it with no temporary crown, absolutely nothing, with over a month till my next appointment.
The day after I left, due to the horrible job they did, the tooth they worked on crumbled in half and fell out. I went back in. They pulled some pieces out and left the rest in telling me it was still save-able. Two days later basically all but the root of the tooth falls out.. So now I will have to get the tooth pulled for sure. There is NO saving what they have done..
Not to mention my insurance that they ran and said was good for the root canal, turns out they didn't use it. Although I payed $500 at the office and was told the insurance would take care of the rest, they sent me a bill 6-7 months later for $1,000.
All in all, if I would have pulled out the tooth to begin with, it would have been absolutely free on the dental insurance I had. I had 2 different plans. Now only having the one, I owe $1,000 plus whatever the extraction will cost me now.
This place should not have a license to operate. They have completely ruined so many things for me and cost me SO much money. It makes me so upset to even think about.

I haven't been to the dentist in yeeears. I was referred to Young Family Dental by my family members and friends, and it's been the best experience EVER. Everyone in the office is friendly, so caring, attentive, and down to earth. Thank you guys for the awesome experience.

No one likes getting fillings, but Corisa did an amazing job getting me numb. Never felt the needle.

Highly recommended. The receptionists, and dental assistant and dentist were awesome. Dr. Young is great, through and communicates with you. My procedure ended up being more than originally planned. But they were great.

This was my first time to this dental office. I came in due to unbareable pain. The front desk check in was speedy. The entire staff was friendly and worked quickly to help me out. I also love the cleanliness of the office. I am definitely coming back & I will be recommending Young Family Dental to family and friends.

I have been to all of the offices of Young Family Dental in Utah. When it comes to dental work I am as picky as it gets.
I have Dr. Chris work on me and I have always had an incredible experience. I especially appreciate how he is thorough in explaining what and why we are doing the work.

My tooth still hurts after two visits.

Dr Workman and Michayla did an amazing job. Had my first root canal done and it went very smoothly. Definitely will be recommending this office to others. Thank you!
