As a Soldier, I have to have an annual dental check up that the Army pays for as part of a yearly physical. I regretfully chose Young Family Dental of Riverton. I will never go back, after having the worst dental experience of my entire life. After issuing an x-ray of my teeth, I was told that I had several cavities that needed to be filled. I trusted them (why wouldn't I, right?) and had the work partially done. The teeth on which they performed dental work have continued to be a source of pain ever since the procedure. I asked for an independent dentist opinion, and was told that I don't have as many cavities as Young Family Dental claims. Coincidentally, I took another Soldier in my unit to eat at Texas Roadhouse (next door to young family dental). He told me "to stay away from Young Family Dental." I asked him his reasoning, and he told me that he visited their office (one in Utah County) for his own yearly visit, and they told him that he had multiple cavities. He (the soldier) didn't believe that to be the case, since he had visited a dentist on an Army base a month before, and that dentist had not found any cavities. Now, obviously I'm no dentist (nor do I claim to be a doctor). I'm not saying that this dental office is intentionally trying to rip people off. But I am saying that I had a poor experience here, as did my fellow soldier friend. I recommend staying away.
