Dr. Janice is the best!! My husband and I have been going to her for many years now. She is pleasant, warm and her expertise in the field of dentistry is second to NONE!! Dr. Janice explains everything before and after any procedure and shows you pictures of the work that has been done. We won't go ANYWHERE else!! Thank you Dr. Janice, and to your entire team of professionals!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I recently moved to VA from MD and was looking for a new dentist. Let me clarify up front, I have been going to the dentist every 6 months since I first cut baby teeth. I decided to try this office since they are within walking distance from where I live. I went in for a routine cleaning and brought along my x-rays from my last dental appointment at another office. For whatever reason, this office did not like the x-rays that I brought and offered to do complimentary x-rays. I explained that my insurance would not cover the cost of these x-rays since I just had them done. They reassured me several times that they were doing the x-rays complimentary since I was a new patient. I had a great cleaning and then Dr. Campbell came around to do my exam. She then informed me that I had NINE cavities. She explained that the cavities were not showing up on my x-rays, but from her examining my teeth, she can see the decay. To say that I was shocked is an understatement. I left her office and could not understand how my other dentist didn't notice any cavities in my mouth all this time.

I wanted a third opinion from another dentist before I signed up to get 9 fillings, especially considering my out of pockets costs would be a little over $800. I decided to call my pediatric dentist and explained everything to them. They then referred me to a dentist in their same building, Dr. Joanna Kempler. I made an appointment and saw Dr. Kempler within two weeks. She also also took x-rays and did a thorough exam. She reassured me that in fact I did not have a SINGLE CAVITY. She is now my new dentist and she is worth the 45 minute drive to her office.

Then, two months after visiting Ma's Dentistry I received a bill in the mail from my insurance company. Those "complimentary" x-rays were not complimentary at all. I now have a $300 bill with this dentist office and that is after my insurance company paid for $150 worth of treatment. So for a routine cleaning and fluoride (both covered under my insurance plan) and "complimentary" x-rays, I had a bill of $450.

Dr. Campbell is a professional in the form of a scam artist and nothing else. I even hesitate referring to her as a doctor. I have filed a complaint with my insurance company and I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Ma's Family Dentistry will scam you out of unnecessary treatment and submit fraudulent claims to your insurance company.

Sue always does a great job taking care of me and my teeth. She is very patient, thorough, and technically proficient.

I feel well taken care of by MA's - my questions are always answered and the hygienist and dentist are very courteous. Pain management is better than any other dentist I have ever visited - they definitely know what they are doing when it comes to patient comfort.

I, like many, had anxiety about the dentist for most of my life. The team at MA's has helped extinguish that fear bc they are professional, friendly, gentle, and explain everything before they do it. I've been a patient there for over a year, and every visit has been positive. Most recently, I had to cancel an appointment due to an unexpected family emergency; when I called to reschedule a few weeks later, the wait time was significant due to Covid restrictions. However, Jesse and Dr. Dionisio worked together to find time to open the office early and Dr. D came in on her day off, just so I could be seen. And they did all of this without me asking them, and without knowing that my original cancellation was due to a death in my family.

Very unpleasant call to inquire about routine teeth cleaning. $495 they want me to pay for a "membership". Really don't like the upselling & not even telling me how much is a routine cleaning. Can't listen to the basic questions. Very bad impression of the clinic.

I have been at this facility for 2 years. At this time I visited, it is during the COVID 19 pandemic. A plan was devised to keep patients safe. Upon arrival, staff was equipped with masks appropriate clothing, shoe covers. My temperature was taken at the door. All before I was seen by my dentist. That’s a plan, I was happy with.

Great chairside manner, minimal wait time, state of the art equipment and very detail oriented. I tried 3 other dentists near me and decided to return to MA's Family after 5 years. Worth the hour drive!!

Dental hygenist (So-Hyung?) was very professional, calming, and displayed a sure and steady hand. I highly recommend her.

As my family dentist, MA’s exceeds expectations. Appointments are scheduled for me and always seen without delay. They are truly professional and that reflects on their service.
