The orthodontic clinic was fine. The parking is horrendous and getting worse every time we go!!! I would not recommend this until they get the parking situation under control! It is bad when you drop off your child and there is absolutely NO where to pay and park!!! You cannot even go to Mcdonalds and buy something and wait for them to call you to pick them up. You really need to provide parking for paying customers!!!!!!!

Wonderful experience here. Dr. Yassim in the prostadontics department is the best, most caring ,kindest dentist I've ever had. Dr. Fu is great. The office staff is pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend the dental school.

For those that do not know... There is a parking lot for UAB school of dentistry. It is off 7th ave north. They give you a token so you just pay 3.00 to park. I was not aware of this so i just wanted to share the info.

I will never come back or even recommend anyone here. The staff at the front office was rude very rude and I was told to come back at 1 only to sit here and everyone else be called back before me! I’ve been here 4 hours and haven’t been seen!

Billing department is a nightmare! Almost 2 years still have not received reimbursement for work both my insurance company and I have paid for. Rude! No accountability. Very unprofessional.

I like them they get the job done and most of the students is about to be finish with school. So there it is you can easy go to a private practice and the can do the same work with to supervision. It's a good place.

I came for full dentures & implants after taking over year I received my dentures within a month I start loosing teeth 2 of them fell out then tell me they can’t send them to lab to repair after I set appointment just to remind you I live in Huntsville it’s not worth the time or money you think you’re saving

I went to the clinic because it would be affordable to me and I have extensive work to be done..I was interviewed and checked by Ms Michelle ( in her shirt was written Mesha I believe.She was supervised and instructed when needed bu Dr Haven( not sure about the spelling) I went to the clinic after going to a couple of dentist in my area and realizing that I could not afford them.I read that the clinic was less expensive.
I was interviewed and checked during the morning but then something changed and the student that have even been instructed to get impressions on my teeth and bite etc..sitted me upright like she was done and started telling me about a couple of options but I could not follow her and ask her to write it down for me to compare..I also asked her if the clinic would help me with a temporary (of course paying for it) and she said that she has to ask.
After that she came back wirh another dr ( I believe his name is Perng-Ru Liu, DDS, MS and he is a proffesor and Chairman) with after a ligth examination and a discourse about how "one can not expect to built a mansion over poor foundation" proceed to expel me from the programm citing the fact that my case was to "complex".Nobody has told me that I was under evaluation...as a matter of fact they already studied my case after my first visit, interview, examination, panoramic and individual Xrays that has happened more than a month ago..I even had another appointment already for next week on the 8th of August.And Messha told me they have studied my case
So he denied me access to an affordable (to me) care.I asked him if I could get a root canal and fillings that I need what he refused saying that it was better for me to get everything in one place although he knows that it is usually done by different specialists.
In a word he was cruel and dismissive of my situation when he could have been so helpful.If it has been his private practice I would not object but it is not the case..I was never told that somebody else has to approve my treatments and I think it was an abuse of his power as Chairman..He probably thought that I would not be able to talk for myself..but even though my English is not perfect and can communicate and tell how unfair his behavior was...The only other thing that I can think of is that I mention that I have been to a Dr that was wonderful but I could not afford her and I mention her name...but ot will bw unfair as well to banned me from their care since I can not afford the other one.
Anyway..this was my experience at the School of Dentistry and specially with
Perng-Ru Liu. God forgive him
