I found that the people art very friendly and helpful and seem to truly care about your overall needs not one time did I like I was being judged like a lot of other places make you feel so I thank them for that

Being someone who always hated the dentist growing up, finding Dentistry Today was a huge turning point in my dental care journey! Before I switched to Dentistry Today I would often end up in tears during my cleanings after learning that I was in need of a filling. After my first filling at Dentistry Today I never worried about the pain or anxiety of getting a filling again, because they made the process a breeze. I was comforted by their immaculately decorated office and top of the line technology. Nothing screams "high quality dentistry" like modern technology. The staff has always been extremely accommodating and made their top priority insuring that I was not in any pain and not feeling any anxiety. I recommend this dentistry to everyone I know!

Love this place! I have never encountered more friendly staff anywhere else. They always tend to my needs, answer my questions and are so patient and accommodating. Dr. Leslie is great at what she does and the rest of her staff makes me feel so welcomed. Love this place and will continue to come here!

Excellent practice! From the front desk to the hygienist, Tammy, everyone is caring, patient and professional. I am always confident that I will receive a thorough cleaning and exam. I have very sensitive teeth and every precaution it taken so that I do not feel any discomfort or pain.
Dr. Barrilleaux does beautiful work and has a wonderful calm personality. My teeth look fantastic and I couldn’t be happier.

I am very disappointed by the care I received at Dentistry Today. The experience was very unprofessional from the beginning until the end. First, the woman who was assisting with my extraction informed me, without being asked, that she only does whitening services at the clinic and is not a dental assistant. I was then given a Novocain shot to anesthetize my mouth but as soon as they did this, I was left in the chair unattended with a mouthful of saliva and nowhere to spit. When the assistant returned to the room she began touching my face and lips WITHOUT gloves to see if the Novocain had kicked in. As soon as the tooth was removed the dentist walked out of the room without any conversation on post extraction care. I am already a nervous person when it comes to being in the dentist’s chair, so this didn’t make me feel comfortable, nor cared for. I noticed at the end they had not given me stitches and there was no explanation as to why this was not done. I understand each extraction is different, but I also know my family members have all had stitches when they had a wisdom tooth removed. A simple explanation of what was done and why, would have been nice. In the end the assistant simply handed me a sheet of paper and told me to have a nice day. I realized they were instructions on how to care for the area after the procedure so as I was trying to review them, in case I had questions, but I felt as though I was being rushed out of the chair which was very frustrating. During all this frustration they did not provide me anything to rinse my mouth out with and on my ride home I was, periodically, spitting out small pieces of my tooth that would have easily been cleared with a rinse.

Additionally, when I went in for my consultation I met with a dentist that I was told would be performing the extraction. She walked me through the process and explained how everything would go and I was comfortable with this. When I arrived for the procedure I was with an entirely different dentist, which was not particularly friendly, warm or caring . I was not notified of the change and when he came into the room he did not introduce himself, nor give so much as a greeting. On a final note, I was told I needed a few other procedures to correct some issues they had come across when doing an exam, but at no point was I given a list of the things that needed attention going forward. As a business I would have thought that they would want to retain a patient vs. making them feel unwelcome, as the work I need would add to their bottom line financially. I feel that I would rather locate another practice that provides comprehensive care and service, for the price I would pay. I feel like I was a book being judged by its cover with a team that did not see the potential loyalty I may have had. My thought is that if you are looking for a professional and caring experience for your dental needs, Dentistry Today on Memorial Parkway in the mall, is NOT where I would recommend you go.

It's the first time I have Ever looked forward to going back to see the dentist. The staff is phenomenal and the dentist is the best I have ever seen. I am so thankful that I went to see Dr. Leslie.
