I had to make an unexpected/emergencytrip to the dentist in Alaska on a trip (away from home state). I didn't want to cut short in order to go to my home dentist. I needed some temporary bonding done for my teeth and a new sports/night guard. The dentists, assistants, and staff here are wonderful. So caring. So nice from the get go. They cared for me above and beyond what I thought would be possible, esp with a same day appt. They cared for me as if I am their patient. I feel like I have a dental home in Alaska now. They noticed and made space for cleaning my most crucial teeth right now, ones that I have been having some surgery around them, and have been hard for me to care for, and taught me how to care for them better now. I really had a delightful, positive experience here and it actually worked out well that I needed emergency care, just to be able to meet them and get cared for here. They are sooooo nice and confident in their abilities to help and gentle. I sent my photos post appt and xrays to my dental surgeon at home and he was pleased! So grateful to know Family First Dental and will actually be able to feel more comfortable taking trips to Alaska knowing I have caring dentists and hygenists here to help me along my oral care journey.
My friend brought me/ recommended this place as its his current dental home and our mutual friend was a former dentist here before retirement. Happy to finally experience it even though because of the circumstances I was quite nervous at first. Really so grateful for them and their level, style, mannerism of care.

Excellent as always! Gemma did my X-rays. She was very competent, friendly & very nice. Candice did my cleaning & was very competent, nice , friendly. It’s always great to see Dr. Newell! He was happy to know that I was brushing my gums well & very glad that I am using the PreviDent everyday. I would highly recommend anyone to go to them for what ever they need done! Everyone is awesome!
