Tucson Spectrum Dentistry

Mixed feelings. The staff is friendly and nice. Everything is high tech from the x-rays, to the TV monitors attached to each chair. Now I have been going to dentist faithful every 6 months. My insurance decided to drop them (made my family sad) so we decided to try Tucson Spectrum Dentistry for our normal routine cleaning. They told me, I needed a deep cleaning even though I asked for a regular cleaning. They said they don't do regular, only deep cleanings and I would need to come back in 3 months, then 3 months again. Humm Red flag. They quickly brought in the financial lady, whom quickly talks to you, doesn't give you copies or show you paperwork. Everything is on her tablet which only she can see. By the way, They charge you for her coming and talking to you as well. I went along with it and did the dam deep cleaning. My teeth felt clean at the end as a normal cleaning would.... Now flash forward. I had to request a copy of the paperwork. When I finally received it, I had to pay $300 for this deep cleaning. When normally my cleaning are free with my insurance. I called my insurance and emailed them a copy of the paperwork.
They charge you for every little thing plus the way they list the codes when billing the insurance is incorrect so they could make more money from the insurance and out of your pocket.... They are very sneaky and will take you for your money with a smile on there face. ... Don't believe me go in for yourself and compare the bill they give you to another bill from your previous dentist. You will quickly see the difference.

The insurance lady was stunned as well. BBB has been contacted. Would not recommend, unless you don't mind be taken.

This is the first time I have written a Google review for anyone but it is deserving. I had nothing but great experiences while going to see Dr.Roberts, Dr. Mathews, Annette, Desiree and Jayde. The team was great and they did a great job explaining everything that they were doing and listening to what I had to say. They kept me calm during all of my appointments and answered all of my questions. After seeing other dentists I can say that they are the best I have seen and I will continue to go there and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a dentist that I was going to a few years ago, it just went downhill so I stopped going. Honestly I'm not a fan of going to the dentist, but really, who is though? My husband went to Tucson Spectrum and had a good experience so I decided to try. They were awesome. From the fabulous ladies at the front desk to the awesome hygienist and dentist, I had a really great experience. Even with a root canal & crown! I'm happy that I've found a dental office I'm super impressed with, thank you Tucson Spectrum Dentistry.

I recently went to their dental office for a cleaning. May, 2021... I had made the appointment on at 3;30 on Thursday and then someone called and said it needed to be rescheduled to Friday. So they changed it to 3:30 on Friday. When I asked why they changed it, they said because they were going to need more time for the appointment. Then, on Friday at around 2 pm, I got a call saying that if they didn't hear from me in the next 20 minutes, my appointment was going to be cancelled. I called back right away, and they said that the hygienist wanted to make sure I was going to be there. I thought it was weird, but I really wanted to get my teeth cleaned. So I went. The person who took my x rays was very nice and even though I didn't know why I had to have so many, that was okay. Then the dental hygienist was poking my gums and saying numbers. I have never had such pain when this has happened before for me. It hurt each time she took a measurement. Then, she sat down and showed me on the x rays how my gums were receding and that I needed this laser treatment to stop the problem, and that she would do it with the deep cleaning. I never asked for a deep cleaning but I was beginning to understand why they wanted to reschedule for more time for the appointment.... they had decided I needed a deep cleaning before even seeing the x rays. Additionally, no one has suggested that for me ever. I take great care of my teeth. But whatever, then someone came in and said it was going to cost 475.00 for all the stuff the dental hygienist wanted to do. I said yes to everything except the laser treatment. I had expected to come in for a cleaning that was covered by my dental plan and here they wanted 475 dollars. But that wasn't the worst part. After agreeing to everything besides the laser (around 350.00), I sat in the dentist's chair for an hour before the lady who took my x rays came in and was surprised to still see me because I guess the dental hygienist was supposed to tell me she had to leave and reschedule the appointment, but she didn't. So basically, I still need a free cleaning and don't need to go to this place to get it done. I will be going back to my old dentist who is about 45 minutes away since I moved, because I can trust them to give me a regular cleaning and not try to upsell me on a deep cleaning that I don't need.

I cant say enough nice things about this dentist office. I called and spoke with Liz and she was so helpful and answered all my questions and concerns anfd got my son in the same day for an emergency visit. Ricardo thr dental assistant was awesome so helpful and so nice. Dr. Malcom was so great and thorough and explained everything to is in detail and Lupita the front office girl was so so great and nice and was very patient with us and answered everything in detail and got my son an appointment within 1 week for the specialist to see him when i thought we were going to have to wait over a month. I cant recommend them enough for your dental needs . They all make you feel right at home in an uncomfortable dental situation . Definitely call them and make them your debtal family. I and my husband have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. The entire dental team, from the receptionist, hygienist and dental assistant, to the dentist and the financial/insurance consultant were all super professional, very caring and understanding. Honest people too! They didn't try to get us to do unnecessary work or procedures done. Super great staff!

We've been coming here for a few years. My family is very happy with the services we receive. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We love the new building too!! The administrative team provides excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Tucson Spectrum Dentistry.

Ozzy really helped me setup my appointment and was very nice

First off, the facility is inviting and very clean. The staff is friendly and greets you upon arrival. Joseph and Dr. Robert's treated me as if I were their most important patient. These last few years I have not been a fan of dentists due to some bad experiences at my previous dentist office, however these two gentlemen put me at ease. I think they knew how nervous I was to get my preceedure and they made it as pleasant and painless as possible. I thank both Joseph and Dr. Robert's for a pleasant dental experience. I will be returning to this office for routine dental care and any unforseen dental emergency with confidence!!! I have referred both my sister and daughter to this office!!!
