Solano Family Dentistry

It was my first time here because my regular dentist does not do root canals..I am new to my insurance (after finding out I have dental insurance)my current dentist is just 3 weeks new to me...I was only here for that reason,my sore tooth...
My appt. was at 1pm..I arrived at 12:57pm...
30 minutes later I was taken back..The doctor came in 15 mins.after that..45 minutes after my appointment time...Not a good start!.....While I was there for 1 tooth for a possible root canal,I got more information on another tooth...In the end I felt they found other things wrong and added into my visit only to give me possible balance for future work I may or may not have done....I feel this was done because the type of insurance I have and obviously I don't have thousands of dollars to pay out of pocket....Now I need to.start over in finding yet another dentist who can do a possible root canal on my tooth-..My regular dentist can take care of the procedures I need done... Would not recommend them!!

I dont recommend solano family dentristy at all! I've been having problems with them and I don't know why. I started going there last year. In the Beginning I needed alot of work done. My insurance didn't cover the majority of cost so mostly everything was out of pocket. We payed alot of money. They treated us great. Always got me my appointments in a timely fashion, always called and gave reminders. After that, I needed a cleaning so they scheduled me a cleaning. So I go in and they tell me I need a deep cleaning and that they will need to get it approved from my insurance. They said it should take about a month and we will give you a call. They said if they don't approve it we can just do a regular cleaning. So I say okay. Well a month has passed and I don't get a call. So I call them and ask what is going on and they tell me that I already has my cleaning and everything is documented. I explained what happened and I said no i absolutley did not get a cleaning. They said yes I did and that they would talk to the Dr and give me a call back so I said okay. Well a week goes by and I dont get a call back. So I call them and they said they tried to call me and that my phone never rang . They said the Dr verified that I did in fact have my cleaning I said NO I absolutley did not. I would like my cleaning. They said okay let me double check with the dr again and we will call you. So I say Okay and I gave them my house phone # as well as 2 cell phone #s bc they said my phone doesnt ring when they call. Well that was weeks ago and still no call from them! I dont understand why they wont give me a cleaning and why do they promise to call and not call lol. They were great when I was forkin up all that cash but now they suck

I was a walk in patient without an appointment. My 30 year old bridge had fallen out the day before and I wanted to get it re-clued. There was an appointment opening and I was seen almost immediately. After the exam Dr. Mahdi Salek explained my treatment options to me and I (we) decided my best option was a new bridge. Dr. Salek completed the prep work, including two extractions and a the creation of a temporary bridge within my time constraints of three hours. The treatment was pain free and the temp bridge looks like the real thing.

The clinic staff were professional, friendly, and supportive. A payment plan was available should I have required it. The permanent bridge will be placed in January 2019. Additional work will be required after that, and I have every intention of having Mr. Salek and his staff perform the work.

I have had a great experience with Solano Family Dentistry. They are friendly and go out of there way to find away to help you get everything you need and they make you feel like you are part of the family. My smile has never looked better. I recommend them highly

I love coming to this dental office! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Dr. Salek and his team are awesome. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for great dental care and customer service.

My daughter had her teeth cleaned by Kaleen and had a pleasant experience. Kaleen was fast efficient and great fun! We are so glad to find a dentist office in Benicia that has a great staff and reasonable fees. They do a thorough job and don’t try to pressure you into doing unnecessary expensive procedures.

This last time visit was the worst. We ended up waiting 30 minutes past our appointment and there was so much confusion especially regarding the wire for braces. I’m switching my daughter to another dentist.

Dr Salek has an acute attention to details.
After years of going to different dentists and seeing a few orthodontists, Dr Salek pointed out to an issue with my teeth that no one else had ever told me. This was quite helpful because it helped me to set the right path for my orthodontist treatment.

The doctor their whom as well is the owner, is very clean, professional, and patient. Best dentist I’ve attended w Medical. I recommend him to anyone I know looking for a dentist, I’m thankful for being referred to him. I travel 40mins to see him, & it’s worth it.

If you are having trouble finding a reputable dentist that takes your insurance, look no further. These people are not only friendly but professional with an up to date facility. Will gladly come back.
