Staff is super friendly and professional. Safety is very important so they do require a mask and chairs are positioned for social distancing. Eddie, dental hygienist, performed a teeth cleaning. He was very gentle and thorough. Dr. Erick Cuenca is the best dentist in the San Joaquin Valley! I recommend them highly.

One of the best dentist in Fresno/Clovis area. Dr. Q is honest, genuine and a fair doctor. He provided several different options for my issue and explained them thoroughly. He recommended I do my own homework and take time to make a decision.
I’ve had bad experiences in the past, where doctor came with a $15k work list and asked when I wanted to begin. I went for a second opinion and found out I didn’t need all that work done.
Love this doctor! I finally found my go to Dentist. It’s a 30 min drive for me, but defiantly worth it!

Corporate. Contract with a Calif lab for dentures. The one in Florida is totally inept. They can't get the dentures correct even when my dentist office sends proper molds. Not happy with bright now and tell everyone so. Don't blame Clovis staff. They're very nice.

I had an extraction done today and this was my first time at this office. I'm a huge dental chicken and was very nervous but everyone was so nice, communicative and really made me feel like I was in good hands.

Dr. Cuenca is absolutely wonderful. He explained everything to me, was extremely nice, great at pain management and made the experience very comfortable. I am very happy to have all of these people taking care of my dental needs.

The office staff was extremely nice and helpful and understanding. The Dr was very professional and explained the procedure before procedure was done. I was not impressed with the assistant that gave instructions before leaving. Too much like a drill sergeant and not enough care for what I was going through. My other visits here have been very pleasant with no complaints.

I’m posting this on behalf of a family member who gave me the details of her experience at Bright Now (Clovis). Dr. Cuenca and his female assistant/nurse (unsure of the name) were incredibly belittling, rude, insensitive and overall unprofessional. My family member went in for their crown work.

Firstly, the doctor came back in with the X-Rays and advised the patient that there were three crowns that needed to be taken care of and provided a quote. The patient asked if they could do the crowns individually to offset the impact of cost. Dr. Cuenca, clearly frustrated laughed in a belittling manner and said, “You must be confused.” After clarifying with him that the priority was taking care of the crown that is causing the most pain, he frustratingly agreed to do the procedure with just two crowns instead of all three.

Second issue: They did not numb the gums/teeth enough. Once the doctor was told about the insufficient numbness, Dr. Cuenca appeared increasingly frustrated. He later came back and roughly re-administered the anesthetic. This time, it went numb. Once he returned he pinned his forearm into the patients forehead while drilling heavily on the crowns. While drilling, Dr. Cuenca was telling the patient negative things about how he doesn’t know if he will be able to save the tooth (mid drilling and having his forearm against the patient’s face). Now, in general, advising about tooth health isn’t a bad thing, but it was a combination of the clear frustration Dr. Cuenca had while leading up to the procedure that lead the patient to feel incredibly vulnerable and full of anxiety in an already worrisome situation.

Lastly, the prescription after the procedure was done took over three hours to be completed. Meanwhile, the patient had to bear the full pain of the procedure. This was a terrible experience for a very open minded easy going person/patient. I insisted on writing this review for the patient because they are not one to complain or raise flags. Beware before coming to this dentist.

The experiences from the nurses are really great!! They're friendly and whatnot. The dentist's are the only problem for me. They're rude and are not engaging with you at all (at least the ones I've had). I like when a doctor or a dentist gets personal with you because it makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Hello community, don’t write these kind of reviews very often so bare with me. Overall positive experience for procedure being done.

Scheduling appointment: I called in due to severe pain under my crown. Employee on the phone had scheduled me for the following day. I’m grateful for the short turn around. Through out the process once I arrived to the site I was asked how I was doing which is very appropriative that everyone isn’t just going through the motions. Wish I remembered everyone’s names, but im not that great with names.

Initial visit:
Came in. Sign asks for clients to wait at the door to be approached. Was greeted nicely. Asked COVID questions, temperature was taken, hands are spray sanitized by employee (awesome). I was then brought to window. Sat down to wait for my appointment which was in roughly 15 minutes. Didn’t wait very long after my appointment time to be taken in for X-rays.

Work performed:
Greeted again by another employee, young man
with good attitude to take X-ray. Brought to my room by him to be greeted by doctor. Examined by Dr. Cuenca. Very honest and direct which is a quality I appreciate. He gave me worst case scenario based on X-ray.

Insurance:
Employee came in who seemed to be office admin. She was very professional and personable (great hire). Explained worst case scenario cost that the doc explained to me. Seemed reasonable so proceeded.

Conclusion:
Got all the work done same visit. I am happy with the dr. Cuenca work that he did on me. Definitely can tell the man cares about his craft and his clients.

I can’t vouch for everyone working at the facility. All I can tell you about is my experience and hope the team recognizes that there are people in the community who appreciate the work they do, with the attitudes that they have and the relief they provide.

My most recent visit October 2021 was for a cleaning with Marissa. She is very thorough, gentle and friendly. My check ups have been improving with her care and encouragement.

I have been going to the same Bright Now location for almost ten years. They retain quality staff who are very friendly and competent. They use text reminders which is very helpful for me.
