I always feared the dentist as a kid but I recently came to golden valley smiles and got my teeth done here. Norma made me feel so comfortable and was so kind to me. Thank you Norma for your kindness and for the excellent service. Would recommend my family and friends to golden valley smiles

Every time I visit I am informed on what procedures I will be going through. The waiting is short and the staff are very caring. Dr. Valencia and Maria alway make sure I am comfortable and check up on me during their work on my teeth.

Highly recommend! The staff is very caring, and nice! They made my experience enjoyable, comfortable, and answered any questions I had during my appointment. They did not disappoint! (:

my last dentist was really rude and not gentle at all. when i came to this one they are really nice and talkative and gentle with me. and they don’t take their time when they wanna get ur teeth done they get it done as fast as they can !

Made an appointment for my 2 year old and when I called to re check what time his appointment was she notified me that they no longer have a dentist that specialize with children so now I have to call my insurance and find a different place , I just wish they cared about patients that already had an appointment and would have notified me sooner !

Worst dentist I've ever been to. The first red flag from them was I had a filling-redo scheduled in the morning at around 10am. Apparently they were short staffed that morning, but instead of asking me to reschedule, when they just changed the time to two hours earlier and tried to confirm it like that was the time I chose. I told them that wasn't the time I scheduled, and I had the email confirmation to prove it.

I got over 5 fillings redone by them, and it was one of the most unpleasant experiences with dentists ever. I am an adult man with a large mouth, but apparently they needed to use a bite block for the entire 6+ hours they did the fillings.

They later noticed I had an "abnormal" mark in my front tooth in the x-ray and told me they believe my tooth was broken by the root and had to be removed. They said they would refer me to a specialist to make sure. Two months later I get a call from them trying to schedule me for a root canal. I ask them why I wasn't referred to a specialist and they say they want to just go ahead with a root canal, even though they had originally said they would refer me to a specialist and the tooth would have to be removed. At this point I was suspicious of them so I went to a different dentist to get my teeth examined, and guess what. They told me nothing was wrong with my tooth!

This place is extremely shady and unprofessional. At this point, I believe that I didn't even need all my fillings redone, they probably just scheduled me for the long, painful and uncomfortable process so that they could make more money. The fact that they would be so greedy is sad and reflects the grim reality that patients covered by MediCal have to face when finding trustworthy providers.

To start off. It's really difficult to find a place were you are treated well. And not just well, but truly cared for. Before SmileCare I was seen by a high end dentist in Clovis. Office was topped off with the whole works, prestigious furniture and technology. But the staff and dentist were detached from the clients, they were cold and to the point. After my experience there, I was weary to try another dentistry.
The only three words that come to mind (to describe this SmileCare) are;
1. Welcoming,
2. Caring, and lastly
3. Retro.
The staff here in this SmileCare do truly care about how you are feeling during the procedures. Dental hygienis, Norma is a sweetheart. I told her about my anxiety over needles, and how I tend to get lightheaded and even faith. Norma sat and listened to me 😊. Not only did I feel heard, but also cared for. She worked slowly while numbing me, and made sure to pay attention to my body signals. Amazing!
Lastly, the place has a retro feel to it, it's not a high topped dentistry. But if your anything like me, and love anything with a nostalgia feel. Then this place is right for you. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I wanna give a huge shout out to Dr. Valences, Xochilt, Norma, and the rest of the great staff at Golden Valley Smiles. Wonderful group of people and have done great work on my mouth. I appreciate everything and I definitely would recommend this dentist office. Thanks again guys!
