Personal Dental Office & Orthodontics

More than one friend recommended Personal Dental because of their flawless work and the variety of services they offer. Now that I am a patient there, too, I couldn't agree more. So glad I found them.

I scheduled an appointment and went through the process of getting my x-rays. After the x-rays they played the scenario that my mouth was in horrible condition and I needed to have extensive work done.

They stated the following:
-Redo my Root canals/crowns. As they stated my previous dentist did a poor job and are infected (Never an issue).
-My fillings needed to be re-done. (I have never had an issue with them)
-Needed to have three of my top right molars extracted and have implants or a bridge installed.

They tried to con me out of seventeen thousand dollars ($17,000!!!). This was upsetting and total B.S. I asked to have their claims that my dentist did a bad job in writing; however, they kept ignoring my request. They made it seem like my mouth was falling apart....
Being upset I rushed over to my original dentist with the printouts of work needed and explained to the office personal what was told to me from P.D. They immediately took x-rays of my mouth. My original dentist greeted me then begin to read the paper over and started shaking his head and chuckled, "What is all of this??? This is ridiculous...Haha" and told me nothing is wrong with my mouth to the point they are telling me. He enlightened me on h ow doctors are and they can not be trusted (for this very reason).

Holding up two x-rays, He told me the ONLY reason why I had pain in my mouth was that I had two deep cavities (a top molar on each side of my mouth) that were hitting my nerves. In short, I needed two root canals. He then explained to me that the work done was correct (as he has over 25+yrs in dental) and the work he has done on my mouth was very easy work. He also pointed out numerous examples on the paperwork of overcharging; one example was that the dental office was charging $350.00 for a cleaning that should have been no more than $95.00. Materials were also overpriced, "Why are they charging XXX for xyz when we purchase them at set prices?" (Him talking out loud) he informed me that certain things should only cost a certain amount. He stated some things showing on the x-ray could have been resolved with a deep cleaning as I have not had one recently.
Due to being lied to and very upset I had to go through my original dentist as I no longer trusted anyone else, this cost me an out of pocket of $1,900.00 as he is out of my network and explained to me why he does NOT do HMO to begin with. He immediately began work and my pain is gone.
I find Personal Dental Office to be corrupted and manipulative, how many people have they lied to in order to make thousands of dollars? This is extremely unethical, while people are fighting over health insurance; Dental work is down the same path with corruption. My situation was nothing but a cash grab.
I will defiantly be reporting them to my insurance and the ADA.

They are SO nice...and so terribly pleasant to someone who despises going to the dentist. I recently had a dental emergency that involved a dental surgery. They didn't even hurt me. I am becoming less and less terrified of the dentist with each visit. At some point I'LL even become pleasant.

Went in for a teeth cleaning with Adinna and she did an amazing job, very thorough and left my mouth feeling as good as new. The reception staff is beyond friendly and have made every visit enjoyable and pleasant.

This place has the most friendly staff that I've encountered. Nery, Susana and Ruby took care of me with the most heavenly attitude. They are very professional at everything that they do. If anyone is looking for dental services, this is the place to go where you are treated like a person not a dollar sign...

The dentist and the hygienist have been amazing and my teeth are on route to becoming healthy. I was recommended by a good friend to come here, and they did not disappoint.

This place is amazing!!! My family of 3 have recieved many services (Orthro, fillings, cleanings etc) and each service was done with care. Impeccable customer service and extremely professionals. I love the consistency we have received over the past three years!

Dr. Nelson is fantastic! I've been a patient several years and refer anyone looking for a dentist to him. He's one of the few dentists I've been to over the years who hasn't tried to push unnecessary services.

My experience here at Personal Dental has been excellent, the service with out any doubt has been the best in any medical dental facility I've experienced!! I had dental implants, To cleaning services & visits to the Orthodontist, hands down to excellence!!

This office is awesome. Adina is an amazing hygienist and knows what she is doing. The front office, Nery, liz, susan and karla are very friendly and on it with scheduling and reminder calls. highly recommended for people looking for a new office !
