Shapiro Family Dentistry of Boca Raton

A friendly, clean, modern practice, that has come through for me when my teeth were in trouble. I have had my share of abysmal dentists in my youth, with according consequences, such as deep fillings, that now needed to be changed to crowns. Long story short, when my temporary crown fell out, and pain was significantly high, Dr Seth Shapiro and his assistant J. took successfully care of me on a SUNDAY morning! I walked in at a 9.5 pain and was reduced to a very tolerable 1 by the end of the day. Never has any physician or dentist ever done that for me, unless a personal friend. Both assistant and dentist were courteous with me and concerned about making me feel truly better( not just a pad on the shoulder) and followed up with me that same evening. When my permanent crown was set, another problem aroused from my other teeth repositioning. AgainI was seen in less than 24 hours and significantly relieved of discomfort. When I hesitated to set appt for another crown procedure that is needed, and was recommended to me, I did not feel pressured to change my mind. I have been presented with recommendations of what ought to be done with a thorough explanation of why, when I asked. Very professional and for me, they really, really went the extra mile.

I waited 45 minutes to be seen. Then it took so long after my appointment to get my treatment plan I had to have them email it to me. Treatment plan was incorrect. Called twice and emailed and no one got back to me after 3 days. Was told it would be $600 for temporary bridge. That's on top of the cost of the bridge. I don't mind paying for the bridge but $600 for Temps is crazy. And I've been in the dental field 20 years.. Disappointed because location is great
Office looks very nice and Dr is nice.
Support staff needs better training.

A true Family Dentist Practice not only in staff but ability to service my whole family, even my 4 year old and 1 and 1/2 year old with the care and professionalism that I want for my children so dentist check-ups and cleanings are fun and not filled with anxiety that could follow them as they mature. Plus the entire place and staff are immaculate clean.

Both Dr Shapiro’s are excellent, caring dentists. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have been patients of theirs for many, many years. I have recommended them to some of my closest friends who are also now patients of theirs.

I have to start of with I've always hated the dentist office. I avoided them for so many years and it bit me you know where!

I found out I had extremely bad cavities that hit my nerve one on each side on the top. I couldn't eat ANYTHING without cringing due to pain. I was recommended to great expressions and sage dental and they were HORRIBLE. I decided NOT to even start treatment with them.

I finally found Shapiro through google and omg it has been the BEST discovery ever! I was nervous but from the first visit they made me feel so safe and comfortable (Briana, Angel, and Dr.Bradley Laurel).

I just had 2 root canals done about 2 hours ago and I had NO pain what so ever!!! It was such an easy pain free procedure (mind you I've never even had one done before) and Dr.Bradley made sure I was comfortable at all times! It took about 2 hours if that and I'm back to work like nothing even happened!

I will stay here forever! Looking forward for my routine check ups now

The best dentist team out there! My family has been using them for years in their West Palm office and now here in Boca. I wouldn't trust our smiles to anyone else. Also, now, Dr. Dari has started the process of braces on my son. She is always looking out for our best interest! When looking for dentists, you must give them a try!

For those following my review let me give you another update.
2 weeks before my appointment this office change my appointment without even consulting me by sending a text message.

Then on the week before the appointment they called twice and left a message about the new appointment time.

On the week of the appointment I called to confirm my original appointment time and I was inform that my appointment was canceled and the next available time would be 28 days later.

With that I have decided to move on to a new office. However I wouldn’t like anyone to go through what I have therefore AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST.

The turn around on stuff is very high every time I came back to a cleaning ( every 4 months) new management and stuff.

STAY AWAY, stay away.

Very disappointed at this office.
I scheduled a cleaning appointment with Ricardo on Friday at a certain time. they called to confirm and they changed the time without telling me. So I did not say anything because I could make it at the new time.
Few minutes before I called to confirm the appointment and they say the dr. Would not be there !!!!! Had to reschedule again for Monday at 10am.
So on Monday at 9 am I called to confirm and I am not even scheduled to come in for my cleaning. I had enough !!! Looking for a better and more organized practice.

I've personally worked with Dr. Dari Shapiro so I know her on personal level. She is an amazing person with a great chairside manner. Her and her husband take their patients into consideration every time they walk into an obitory. They know going to the dentist isn't always easy for some people and their main goal is to ease the nerves of those who are scared and to provide the best dental care possible. Even though I no longer work side by side with her I am still a patient of Shapiro family dentistry and refuse to see anyone else even if it means driving an hour for an appt.

This was our first time at this office . My son John, chipped his front and side tooth at school . The office staff was able to fit us in the same day . The staff was accommodating and helpful . We were welcomed and felt comfortable . Dr Novak , did an amazing job fixing my son’s teeth and before long my son came out smiling !!!

Went in cleaning but the dentist said I needed X-rays first. The dentist then told me I needed 3 cavities filled and caps on top of that for approx $1500. They also cut my mouth twice from the xrays which gave me 2 canker sores.

I went for a second opinion who to told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth.

This place is a scam. Do NOT go.
