I have never been less impressed by a dental practice.
I went in to get established as a new patient. I have had the same dentist for over a decade but have recently moved to South Florida from another state, so I had to find someone new, unfortunately.
Dr Yana was rude and condescending to me throughout my entire exam. She wouldn't listen to a thing I said regarding my history and current issues. She kept telling me I needed various treatments and procedures that my regular dentist - and others over the years - have deemed non-essential.
When she asked if I knew what a bridge was, I was annoyed. But when she brought up Invisalign - when braces/aligners have NEVER been mentioned by any dentist - for the second time, I knew I was done with her and this clinic.
I'll be getting a second opinion as soon as I can find a dentist in the area that I can trust as much as my old one. I won't be bullied into overpriced, unnecessary procedures or talked down to by my doctor.

I was very hopeful when reading other reviews!
However, our first visit we waited 75 minutes past our appointment time. Second visit, waited 35 minutes past appointment time. Called prior to leaving the second time to make sure they were on time, which they said they were.
The receptionist very kindly emailed our scans and X-rays to us the day of requesting them. We are switching dentists.
Edited to respond to the comment below: we were never offered anything for free. We were told by the dental hygienist working that she just wanted to leave the Boca office and head back to hers immediately because it was so poorly run with old materials, etc. Reviews make a difference and I would hope honesty would be important to you guys. No hard feelings, just not the place we want our family going to.

Those women answering the phone have no standards or class. I don’t understand the doctor, to spend so much time and money getting your education, just to be ruined by poorly mannered people representing your practice. 👎

I was referred to the Boca office and I'm glad I found them. From the front office staff, to the tech, to the dentist, everyone was excellent! It was recommended I get a molar onlay. Dr. Diaz's technique was top notch. Never felt pain, not even when he puts the needle in to numb the tooth. Highly recommend and look forward to going back for many years. Stephan was the tech and guided me every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Impressed all the way.

Shapiro is the best dental team I've ever experienced and friendly too. I've been with them since 2015. My teeth were initially in average health and appearance. They have made my teeth perfect. They fixed my previous crown that had a food trap, deep cleaning and invisalign. Having great looking teeth has changed my life.

Me and my family have been patients at this clinic for a long time. We were respected by all professionals and especially by the reception in the past. Today the entire reception has been replaced. Our appointments are always being canceled and last minute changed. Total disrespect ! I'm very disappointed.

The experience was pleasant. Staff was very kind and professional. Received fair treatment plan for my dental issues. However, the exacts of my insurance coverage was not fully detailed by their billing and ended up having to pay out of pocket for the procedure.
