Gentle Dental Care

Great practice. Went as an emergency and luckily they had a cancellation and could see my son the same day. Ultimate had to install a crown on a front tooth. I was given all of my options prior to moving forward. Great staff. Highly recommend

I, like most people, am not a fan of going to the dentist. That is why I drive an hour to Gentle Dental Care. Whether It’s Dr Jordan, Dr Patti or just a routine cleaning, the service is unmatched. The attitude, care and professionalism are beyond what anyone can hope for. If you’re looking for a dentist office that provides an amazing staff and the best Doctors who actually care about you, I highly recommend Gentle Dental Care.

The staff here is very nice and I had positive interactions with them. However, I went in for one small cavity filling and I didn’t get quality dental work done because I still have cold sensitivity months after the appointment. I have even used sensodyne and nothing changes. I was also very disappointed in the use of metal fillings, especially because I was never given a warning that they would be metal. I expected white considering it’s 2020.

My husband had multiple fillings done by Dr. Austin Gardner Webb. They all hurt for a long time afterwards, but he thought maybe his teeth were just getting more sensitive. Nope. All the fillings were bad. One had to be corrected with a root canal and crown. The others had to be cleaned out and redone. He brushes twice a day and flosses nightly, so it's not like that was the problem. Like everyone says, the dentists and staff are very pleasant, but I sure wouldn't trust my mouth to them after this experience.

I am from Albuquerque, NM and upon arriving in Gainesville for a vacation I had a dental emergency. The staff was polite when I called and got me in the same day. Dr. Jordan took an x-ray and photos then went into detail about what was wrong and how to fix it. It seemed that the office really enjoys what they do and they did a great job. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Gentle Dental Care!

My husband and I have never been st such ease and comfort during dentist appointments as we are at Gentle Dental. Dr. Jordan and staff are very knowledgeable, informative and caring! Another plus is that our appointments are always on time!

I used to be the biggest baby about the dentist. The anxiety would start building days before the appointment, and by the time I got to the lobby, I would be in tears. Once I saw tools, I would just be a hysterical sobbing mess. That was all before I started going to Gentle Dental. From my first appointment, nearly a decade ago, to present day, I have never had anything other than exceptional care.

The office staff greets you as soon as you walk in and each of the assistants, techs, and hygienists treats you with the same care and consideration. From little things like knowing my personal preferences (I hate cherry flavored anything and don't want the cotton to touch me) to the big stuff like keeping up with my allergies and changes in medication, they're on top of their game. Each room is equipped with a TV in case you need to zone out, and they have a great system that sends out email and text reminders of appointments. I even get a birthday email!

Drs. Patti and her son, Jordan Webb really cultivate a family feel in the office, and take pride in their work. I don't dread the dentist anymore, and many of my friends and family have also joined the Gentle Dental family as patients. I really cannot say enough positive things about this practice; it is by far, one of the best practices in Gainesville.

We just went there because she had pain in her gum and had not been to dentist for a long time.

x-RAY lady was very nice and friendly did her job in 15 min.
The Dr herself over friendly and funny,
she showed us how she has a lot of carbonate and needs cleaning, only $70 for 1st visit, they gave us appointment for next week

could be better: we had to wait 30 min in the room for Dr to show up,

Bad: The DR did not exactly tell me about the teeth supposedly need to be refilled in the future, she said come clean first and we ll discuss, I would prefer a more transparent answer, may be i m wrong if its impossible before cleaning to see the teeth!

If you work for UF, get the Eagles Direct Reimbursement Dental plan and go see Patti and Jordan. For four straight years in Gainesville, I tried new dentists and had unbelievably negative experiences with each of them. Took my son to Gentle Dental to look at his chipped tooth because they made time to fit him in. Year 5, I switched to GD, and I enjoy just walking in the door there. They are pleasant, charming, trustworthy, organized, and clean.

At Gentle Dental, you have to pay upfront, but they file the paperwork with Eagles for you. Use your favorite cash-back/points-earning credit card and wait for the check to come in the mail. I think benefits only for up to $1500 per person, per year, so keep an eye on that.

I would definitely give them ten stars if I could, amazing place to go for pain extraction, or advice you what may be best. ( It's All Up To You). They applied no pressure for making the decision for us, it's just that simple they get you in and they get you out. The female worker was Marvelous and so was the doctor, financially they will not kill your pockets and I know for many that's your concern, however, they care. You'll leave with great pleasure and a new you.
