This experience did not leave me wanting to come back. First off I didn't sign up for a cleaning special; so when I sat down in the chair and the staff said they'd start the cleaning now, you can imagine my surprise. An extra service I didn't sign up for was about to commence. It was only <$200, it isn't a big deal, but the principle of the matter is that I never asked for it. I brought it up THREE times and not once did I get anything close to an apology for the miscommunication. (I mentioned it to the hygienist, receptionist who took the call, and the dentist) You don't slap on a $200 service by accident and not say sorry. They just looked at me like I was the one who was at fault. I understand that they're busy and miscommunications do exist, but at least say, "sorry about the mix-up." I didn't feel like they cared now that I already paid them. Though the hygienist was a great and fun person, I have to admit that my cleaning session was not the best I've had. It was quite painful (not to including my problem tooth). Lets face it, having your teeth cleaned isn't fun and can be painful of course, but this was a bit above average pain. I did however appreciate that Dr. Patti opt to try the least expensive option first rather than having to start digging into my problem tooth (which would be $$$) to rule out other possibilities. With all that said, I don't think I'd go back to fix my problem tooth as I don't feel respected or comfortable there.
My Advice: when you're making an appointment, please verify what you want to have done/checked. ;)

I have been going to Gentle Dental Care for the last two years, and they are, by far, the best dentists I've ever been to. Drs. Patty, Austin, and Jordan are very professional, as well as the hygentists and office staff. Dr. Austin was recommended by a friend after I moved to Gainesville. My first appointment was for cleaning and x-rays, and the hygentist did a wonderful job. I was especially impressed with Dr. Austin's sincerity and kind disposition. He went over my x-rays in detail and advised me that I had a tooth that would eventually need a crown because the large amalgam filling was starting to show cracks . No pressure, but said it should be done in the next three months.. I told him to go ahead and do it because I was going to be traveling and did not want to have a problem while I was away. Good thing I did, because there was a lot of decay and if I had waited any longer I could have possibly had to have a root canal. I was dreading the procedure, but it was painless. I couldn't believe it. I got a temporary crown and went back a week later and saw Dr. Patty for the permanent crown. It took a matter of minutes for her to put the permanent crown on, and while she was looking in my mouth, she reminded me to wear my Invisaln trays (I have finished the program) every night. It's a good feeling knowing she's looking after my teeth. And oh, about the Invisaline....my teeth are now straight! I was in the office every 2 weeks for new trays so I got to know the staff very well. Truly an office of all personalities, and that's another star. I can't say enough about Gentle Dental Care.

I love this office. The Webbs have taken great care of my family for years. In this time of COVID I appreciate the extra caution taken to insure a safe visit. I have a happy mouth and jaw because of the great care given.

I had a ridiculous tooth ache and the tooth had to be extracted. I called dr. Jordan Webb at 5:30 in the morning in horrible pain. He made an appointment at 745 am the same day to take care of my tooth. I am very grateful for his urgency and kindness. I would recommend his office to anyone needing tooth care. He was not only professional but was very informative.

We just left here. My husband had a infected tooth. Nobody could get us in, in Ocala. We both were very surprised on how every staff member including our dentist Dr. Webb was. Very personal and so very nice. We will be back! Thank you so much!

The entire staff at Gental Dental is caring, compassionate and professional. From the time you meet the secretary, to the hygentists to the dentists you always feel welcome. Problem on the the weekend... a dentist is on call and will talk to you on the phone and determine if an office visit is necessary for that day. If an appointment is not needed on teh weekend they'll schedule you for Monday morning. I want passionate dentists and Gentle Dental provides such a service.

Have been using the Webb’s for many years and couldn’t be happier. The family truly cares about their patients, the facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. I have never been over sold something that wasn’t needed. Will continue to see Dr Webb and continue to refer friends and family.

I have no review because I contacted them via email which they said they respond to, and I have never heard back from them. I have some specific dental issues which I needed consideration for. I sent them and email in detail asking for help and a response. That was over 7 weeks ago and they never bothered to contact me. That is very sad and did not make me feel very good about their practice.............

Always a great visit at Gentle dental care with staff and Dr. Webb! From being greeted by Barbara at the front desk, my Cleaning and follow up with Dr. Webb.
Thanks for years of keeping my teeth clean and in good shape!

Best dental practice in Gainesville, possibly in the world. Ask anyone who has been in Gainesville for a while. They will say the best things in Gainesville are: Dragonfly, Dorn's, and Gentle Dental. Dr Patti and Dr Jordan are so nice that I actually enjoy my visits. The hygienists are knowledgeable and do not cause me any pain.
