(PART 2)_

Well back with Ms. Zambrana's cleaning, Since I made a comment about the excessive shots I had the first time- she decided to only apply topical numbing to clean my teeth. She said if it hurts too bad, let her know and she'll give me shots. as she starts, it hurt- but it was do-able. then it hurt a lot more.. I raised my hand and told her id like the shots- She said "okay, no worries" and kept working. . . . . . !? I dealt with it for some more time and I stopped her again explaining it was too painful and she said "Oh ok, no worries, I'm almost done!" and KEPT GOING!! It was such a TERRIBLE experience! I don't know if there was a language barrier issue or if she just got some sort of enjoyment out of my pain.

Lastly- my experience with the office staff and assistants. Sierra, Cley Alex and Stenley were all very nice- I had one experience that same day on May 13th with office girl Bailey that was truly appalling and unacceptable. I asked her about the continued scheduling service appointments and if they were really needed every 3 months- She went on about the procedure, what it endures, and how disgusting the inside of my mouth is for "not taking care" of it. (THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT I ASKED!) went on a 3 minute rant and ended with "but that isn't a question for me, that's for your periodontist to answer." So you just loudly embarrassed me in front of 4 people in the waiting lobby- made me sound like this disgusting human being- and made me feel terrible that I am here trying to make everything perfect. I've never been so insulted by an individual- I wanted to retaliate but I am not one to make a scene. She must have had something terrible in her life going on to be so rude and unprofessional for absolutely NO REASON. Employees like that is the reason why a facility like this will lose lots of its people like myself. The show of unprofessionalism was way too much and I have no respect for customer service like that. I will never reference this facility for future work to any of my friends or clients.

Overall they gain 2 stars because the Dentists themselves (the professionals) were great.

Wonderful experience! Dr. Saavedra knowledgeable & professional. Explained treatment in a way I understood. Assistants Daphne & Cleidys made me feel right at home & were interested in me, not just as a patient.

A very enjoyable experience considering that most people don't enjoy going to a dentist. Yulissa Alvarez Sanchez DMD filled a cavity and i hardly felt it. She and the staff are A one.Five stars out of 5.

Dr.Saavedra was great he was super attentive and explained everything that was going on in very simple terms. Rita and cleidys were also amazing they were able to help me with any questions I had after they were done with my cleaning.

I made an appointment as a new patient; $59 for x-ray, cleaning and exam. Before my appointment they followed up with me several times to check about my insurance status and to see if I had any dental complaints. I indicated that I had tooth pain and might have a filling that needs to be replaced or a new cavity. During the last call the gentleman mentioned my upcoming "x-ray and exam" but did not mention the cleaning so I asked him about that. He said the hygienist runs their own schedule and I would have to schedule that with them (why wasn't this mentioned when I made my initial appointment?). Confused, I hung up and thought about it. I called back and asked if I could speak to someone and get my cleaning scheduled. The staff member told me they would have the office manager call me to get it scheduled and I asked that they have her call me before my appointment the next day since I wanted to make sure I could get a cleaning scheduled (which is included in the new patient package) before I traveled in a month. The office manager never called. I showed up for my appointment the next day 15 minutes early so I could make sure I got my cleaning scheduled before my appointment. The receptionist said he could not schedule my cleaning until after I am seen (why didn't they tell me this on the phone the day before?). When I asked him why, he said there are many types of cleanings. I had never heard of this and as far as I know I'm going to have to see a hygienist for a cleaning whether it's one type or another. So in his list of cleaning "types" he mentioned regular/basic, medical etc. I asked if he would just schedule me for the basic cleaning and he said "no, not until you are seen". This leaves the door open for them to charge me $59 and only provide an x-ray and exam within the time that I am available.

Had the office staff told me up front that the cleaning would be a separate appointment, only AFTER the X-ray and exam, and that I would not even be able to schedule that cleaning until after my exam, or find out when their earliest available cleaning could be done, I would not have wasted my time and effort through all of this. This is borderline bait and switch, and certainly shady. I won't patronize a place that is not upfront and honest.

My mouthguard broke in half and I needed to get into a dentist office right away. What a great group of people working there!
I had to wait quite a while to see the DDS, Dr Yulissa Alvarez Sanchez, however, it was worth it! She was very knowledgeable and understanding regarding my concerns about the current situation.
Arrangements were made for the technician, Daphne Sylvesre, to take/create the mold. Daphne was very experienced and informed me of exactly what she was doing, and what I needed to do when.
Hats off to Victoria Barretos though, the sweetest, kindest receptionist I've ever met. Victoria greeted me promptly when I walked in, escorted me to the area where the mouth scan done, and then to the dental exam chair. I think this young gal has potential to go places if given the opportunity.
Great experience under a stressful situation for me.
Thank you!

Both Dr. Saavedra and Daphne Sylvestre were so kind, patient, and very welcoming. They explained everything they were going to do so there were no surprises, which always helps. You can tell they love what they do!

Dr. Yulissa Alvarez Sanchez very professional, kind and HONEST. I was told in Miami I needed a root canal $$$. I told Dr. Sanchez I needed one but she found nothing wrong with my teeth. Imagine finding HONESTY in 2023 she could have done a root canal and make some easy money but she did not. Forever her patient. Her staff a reflection of the Dr. Cleidys Estrada x rays very sweet and professional, Victoria in the office really good as well, with a lot of patience. I need more than 5 stars. Maybe 30.

Wonderful experience during not so wonderful work. Excellent staff all around and I couldn’t recommend Dr. Yulissa Alvarez Sanchez enough! Daphne Sylvestre really helped take my visit above and beyond any expectations!

I moved to Naples about two years ago and unfortunately I hadn't visited the dentist until now. I am so happy to have found Dentists of South Naples. Their online portal is simple, easy to understand, and makes filling out paperwork easy.

Bailey called to confirm my appointment a few days beforehand and greeted me kindly upon showing up for my appointment. Friendly, professional, and down-to-earth person.

My dental hygienist was Rita. Some dental hygienists back in Minnesota are way too aggressive and honestly make me wonder if they realize they're working on a human and not back at dental school working on a mannequin. Rita, however, was fantastic! Gentle but thorough and asked multiple times throughout the cleaning if I was okay or needed anything.

Dr. Yulissa Alvarez Sanchez was my dentist. Incredibly kind, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable. She explained her recommendations for my gingivitis and made sure I understood them.
I never thought I'd enjoy a visit to the dentist and honestly never thought I'd leave a review this long for a dentist's office, but these people are great. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.
