What a fantastic dental experience, I was a new patient who needed to be seen immediately for extreme dental pain, I was told to come within 45 minutes of calling. Dr. Spilman could see how much pain I was in and quickly alleviated it before xrays and all the other formalities that go along with being a new patient. Dr. Spilman was able to preserve a tooth that most dentists would have probably just pulled, it was that bad. I left the office grateful but a little concerned I would have a lot of pain once the novocaine wore off, but other than the slight soreness that goes along with any dental procedure I am completely pain free!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Also, the office staff were wonderful, everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable, down to bringing me a warm blanket after the "dentist chair shivers " set in. Well done!!

5 Stars is not enough for this office. My family has been seeing Dr. Spilman for 8+ years. He is the definition of "Family Dentist". My now teen daughter was terrified of the Dentist and Hygienist. He and his staff [Ms. Alex] have worked their magic and it doesn't take much to get her to the dentist anymore. They are always kind, compassionate and easy to work with. They work to be flexible with dental emergencies...which is how I found Doc to begin with. I was 6 months pregnant with a broken tooth and my regular dentist at that time could not see me for 3 days. Doc fit me in that afternoon. I never looked back. My daughter was born and has come with me to almost every visit since then (I didn't want her to have the same fear as her sister). They are AMAZING! Our family highly recommends Spilman Dentistry.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Spilman’s for over 20 years. He and his staff are always welcoming, accommodating and make you feel at ease. They treat you like family and make you feel comfortable with whatever procedure you need to undergo while you’re there. As someone who feared going to the dentist as a child, this is incredibly important to me. I’d highly recommend Dr. Spilman if you’re looking for someone friendly, honest, and competent in what they’re doing. His office is a rare gem in St. Petersburg and even though I’ve relocated I make the drive from Lakeland to still be taken care of by him and his wonderful staff.

This office has pulled out all of the stops for this coward when it comes to getting in the dental chair.
Not only are they following guidelines for covid but had me in and out of the office in a timely matter, never rushed but prompt.
Dr. Spilman had a really good chair-side manner and explained my procedure to me as we went through it. The office was clean and had a real St. Pete feel. The biggest thing for me was it didn’t feel like the fast food world of dentistry where I’m rushed in and out of some huge corporate office where I’m joined by others in some open bay filled with Dental chairs. They didn’t up sell a bunch of high priced toothbrushes either. Great office, great staff
