Horrible customer service. My implant chipped and so I called the office right away because who wants to walk around with a chipped tooth. I was frantic. When I called, I told them that I had a chipped implant and wanted to see if I can come in ASAP so that I can start the process to get my implant replaced. She shared that she couldn't book an appointment until she checked with my dental insurance to see if it was covered, along with a cleaning. As a patient who has a chipped tooth, I tried to be patient and wait to see if my insurance was covered but all I wanted was to come in a see the doctor. While I was waiting for a call back (I hadn't heard back all day), I was making other phone calls. I was able to reach a high rated practice in town and they got me in SAME DAY, called my insurance company while I was there, gave me my costs, and scheduled me for my new implant (they had to send my impressions to the lab.) All this was done, and I still hadn't heard from Winter Park Dentistry & Prosthodontics. I went ahead and called them back the next day and she said that they still didn't hear from my dental insurance and they couldn't schedule. So I told them forget it, I got it handled. Today, I got a text message from them (mind you it's Sunday and not a working business day), telling me that my insurance is not in network with them. 2 and a half weeks later, they are reaching out about something that I already gotten taken care of.
If you are looking for an office that cares about your situation and the horror of having a chipped tooth, don't go to them. Look for a practice that cares puts themselves in the patients shoes and does whatever they can to help you and make your situation better.
Glad I found this other practice. In 2 weeks, I have been able to get my implant replaced, get a cleaning and get ZOOM whitening. No wonder they are rated #1 in Orlando.

I am a retired female Army Veteran that had to get a few dental work done in my mouth, my VA provider was extremely booked up until February of 2023. He recommended for me to use one of their highly recommended outside providers to do all of my current dental work that needed to be done sooner than later. I am extremely happy that I was sent to Dr. Matar’s Dental practice, from the drive up to the office, the whole beautiful and nicely decorated office interior, the exam spaces and not to mention their super technology equipment were amazing. Finally the reception staff, the Dental Hygiene person and the lady that did my final scan and my 6 ft 4 inches Dentist was very professional and top notched. I give them collectively 5 stars rating for a job well done. I will let my VA Dental provider and the staff personnel that did my voucher that they did a great job in sending me to Dr. Matar’s.
