I hadn't been to the dentist in a couple of years. I have terrible anxiety and I absolutely dreaded this visit. I had THE most pleasant visit. Dr. Amy and her staff are seriously the nicest, most compassionate people. My only regret is not visiting them sooner. I will no longer dread dental appointments. My family will be patients for life!

My very nervous son had a cavity filled last week by Dr. Amy. Amy and Ashley were so good with him! He was able to relax and did so much better than I had anticipated! Tonya thankfully was able to help since he has braces. It saved us needing to schedule an appointment with his orthodontist too! We really appreciate the folks at Hometown Family Dentistry!

If you ever need any dentistry work in the Jefferson area, this is a fantastic place. I cannot recommend them enough!
The facility is clean and very patient-oriented: from coffee in the waiting area to the televisions on the ceilings in the patient rooms (so you can watch Friends — or whatever — while you’re waiting or having your teeth cleaned).

This was our first visit. The office staff was so kind and helpful. My Mom isn't a huge fan of the dentist , Dr. Rowe and Brandi were patient and sweet to Mom to help her relax. I cannot thank them enough!

Problems with billing and very rude doctor and one rude hygienist. Can’t remember her name . I had a bond done and it broke off and got shoved in my gums on a Friday (maybe a week after getting it done). I called the office in panic because I was in pain on top of it being shoved in my gums. The girl who answered the phone said she couldn’t get me in til Monday. I explained I was worried it would get infected and I was in pain. She continued by saying she would call me in antibiotics just in case. We scheduled an appointment and she hung up . She called back and told me she needed to move me to another time because someone else called with a toothache! Really! First my bond shouldn’t have broken in the first place! Second, no emergency help whatsoever so I had to live with the pain! And third, they call and basically tell me I’m not a priority that someone else is even tho I had made the appointment first! I went in on Monday and the hygienist told me to hurry up and make the decision if I wanted the dentist to fix it because I was running out of time. She came back and told me if I wanted to get it fixed, I would still be charged for one tooth and that I would need to reschedule it to be done because I took too much time deciding and they didn’t have time for me. I will he checking with my insurance to see if I was charged and I also forgot to mention how the hygienist told me that “this never happens.” “The dr is very good”. She insinuated multiple times that I did something to break the bond. Very rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful, woman and doctor. Avoid going here! The staff have their friends do these reviews! That’s why they have such good reviews! Also, I suffer from multiple chemical sensitivity and they have a lit candle burning by the sign in sheet when you walk in. Disgusting. This is a medical facility and doctors take an oath to not harm their patients! The chemicals in the candles are harming their patients! Shane on this practice!
