Staff and environment are very friendly. I was very disappointed in the crown I received from here. The crown had to be sent off two times to be adjusted to fit correctly and it still didn’t fit. Instead of sending it off again, it was grounded down so far the metal is showing. Now I’m left with a huge ugly black spot on my crown. I feel no pride was taken in the workmanship of this dental procedure. I will be going to another dentistry after this.

This weekend I developed a tooth abcess, it was very painful & swollen. I have no dental insurance & so I called several offices for pricing. I chose this office because of the affordable prices & the lady at the front office was kind & answered my questions before I could even ask them. They fit me in same day & it was a short wait to get me back for xrays. Unfortunately I had to be referred to an oral surgeon for the work but I am so pleased with my experience at this office. Everyone was friendly & helpful.

I have a great fear of the dentist from past experiences. Each time I have visited they have been compassionate and have went above and beyond to make me comfortable. They have worked with me through all of my difficulties and continue to be my favorite dentist!

First let me say I love most of the staff and Dr’s. They do a great job. I had a lot work done and I do have good insurance but still paid close to 3000. Yes I received a estimate and it’s only that but most aren’t off by $900. So get everything done and paid next thing I know I’m getting a bill for another $1000 for service not yet preformed. I was told all insurance was used for the year and that is true but it starts over the following year( service started over 5 months before) the bill they were sending was for things I had to wait not bc of Money just healing time. I went into the office and questioned the bill of course. Very calmly I hate conflict. The Billing manger Tanya spoke so ugly to me but still couldn’t explain why I’m getting a bill now all she could say well it’s not due until we do it. My point insurance will cover I even double checked with insurance. After she left the staff apologized for her and said she is always rude. I decided at that time I was uncomfortable returning for future treatment because of trying to bill for service not preformed, the large difference in estimate and the disrespect shown by her. So that was my last visit I was told my account was $0 at this time and ti disregard the bill bc it wasn’t done. Now over 5-6 months I received a bill for $20 dollars. Unsure why I called the office I didn’t mind paying but wanted to know what it was for. Thankful I did not speak with Tanya that day but did explain if they would send me something showing what it was for I would gladly pay it but I felt uncomfortable coming back in for future treatments. Well today I got a letter saying they are writing off the $20 and can no longer work with me basically firing me as a client after I had already let them know I would not be coming back. It’s really sad because like I said everyone was great except billing. It’s unfortunate for the staff that one person can take down a whole place. If you look at other reviews all the good ones talk about other staff. All the low ones always is due to lack of respect, knowledge, and understanding in billing.

This was the best dentist I've ever been to. I am TERRIFIED of these visits. The dental hygienist, Stephanie Minish, was just so calm and had a very comforting affect. Extremely sympathetic to my anxiety. Great people, great office. I would recommend them to anyone, even if meant a drive.

The ladies at Hometown Family Dentistry are always friendly. I was there for my 6month exam and cleaning, but had a crown that came off a month back. Dr. Amy fixed it while I was there.

While removing my tooth I did not feel it.

I went yo Dr Amy for a second opinion. She imwas very honest and it turns out that I didn't need the unnecessary work that the previous dentisr said that I needed. She was upfront about what I truly needed to keep my teeth at in their best condition. I live in Athens but will continue to drive to Jefferson, as it is it worth it to find a trustworthy care provider. Thank you Dr. Amy

We've been coming here since my kid started going to the dentist and everyone is always so nice! The kids LOVE coming to the dentist and they always see you quickly... never a wait for your scheduled appointment. We love them.

This is a great group of people. They are very friendly and are always in a great mood. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen and always leave feeling like I have visited friends instead of a doctor’s office.
