Dr. Lum is Awesome, Daughter had her wisdom teeth bothering and were recommended Dr. Lum , not he was really friendly, knowledgeable but really fast, can't believe it, tooth extraction was a success with minimum pain after procedure, really happy to have my Loves ones to take care of at Hawaii Family Dental, highly recommended. The Stuff are nice too, i believe Sam is the name of his assistant which she is really aloha, really appreciate that, Mahalo for the great service.

Went in because of severe pain from my tooth. Had an exposed nerve, the Doctor was so nice and friendly. He was able to squeeze me in for a root canal before lunch and I am so grateful! He and his assistant made sure I was comfortable at all times and made sure ti get me out of there pain free. I am so happy I went with them and will definitely be going back for routine cleanings

I had a wonderful experience at Hawaii Family Dental - Kona.
I needed a few fillings and the Doctor was very clear explaining what he was doing the entire time, he was also very concerned about my well being. Thus, I had total trust in the Doctor and his assistant as they were both very professional and had me feeling trustworthy. In my opinion, I was in good hands!

Very pleased with my first visits at Hawaii Family Dental. Everyone was friendly and professional. Recently moved to the Kailua area from CA and it felt so comfortable. My husband is transferring from his dentist to mine. Would definitely recommend. Book early! Their schedules fill up quickly!

I take my 3 year old son here and they do a great job with him. He is afraid of the dentist and cries the whole time, and this great dentist and hygienist work impressively quickly to do a thorough cleaning and exam and get him out of there fast. The dentist is gentle, kind and empathetic. She asked if we had any questions. I will keep bringing my son here!

This was my first time in this office and what great experience I had! The staff was very friendly and the lady dentist I saw was great and made me feel very comfortable! My dental hygienist, Jeff, is the best, he does an excellent cleaning and I do appreciate it, Jeff is the best dental hygienist I have had. My dentist, Dr. Barry, Is the best ever, after his exam I feel good that I am doing the right thing with my teeth, teeth are so very important. My β Mahaloβ to both Jeff and Dr, Barry.

This has been a great place for me, from the receptionist to the assistants to the dentist. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly. I got implants put in. An oral surgeon Dr. Hiranaka put in my implant and my dentist Dr. Adair was also there assisting. After surgery I was very surprised there was no pain. Dr. Adair has been great.

Had a great experience with the talented Dr. Adair & Dental Assistant Ms. Awa. I had a pleasant root canal, perfect amount of numbing & quick, skilled procedure. Dr. Adair gives a nice narrative about what he is doing. Very interesting. Both were nice & great communicators. Couldnβt have been any better. Thanks!.

I had an appointment for a crown and had no idea what that entailed. Dr. Strommer and his assistant Sam explained it so well and put me at ease. Also I was assured anytime I wanted him to stop he would. Sam made my temporary crown and it is perfect, there are no issues with it being too high. Highly recommend. Also waiting time was about 5 min!
