Aloha and much Mahalo for all of the staff over at the dental office. Everyone was very helpful,polite, and knowledgeable about everything. My daughter needed to get her teeth fixed and was able to get everything done in the same day. Mahalo to Dr. Daniel Shin and staff for making all feel welcome.

I’m so satisfied with the services and the technician who assisted me. Also shout out to Dr. Shin. I did my braces 😁 in 2019 and proudly say that I removed it after 3 years according to the plan. I’m so happy and content with the results and also looking forward to get better results with the retainer that was given me. Highly recommend Dr. Shin and his staffs. Thank you so much ! I’m a very satisfied customer.

I love Mandy, my hygienist. She's very informative and gentle. I like the new doctor too. He's nice and very thorough. The receptionists are way better this time. Her name is joy and I'm not sure the other lady's name. They're friendly and polite, unlike the regular ones that's always in the front. They always seemed so stuck up.
The place is always clean and comfortable. I went on 1/26, Thursday for a cleaning. Awesome job guys!

After having shared my severe dental anxiety in advance, I was on time for my appointment but was made to wait 20 minutes before I was called back, then over 40 minutes in the chair before anyone came to see me. As if I wasn't clearly itching to get out of there, Dr. Eng thought it would be a good idea to take the time to explain how important it was to wear a retainer after having had braces... 40 years ago. Then when I came back to see the periodontist, while delivering the diagnosis that he wanted to pull teeth and do surgery on my gums... I was asking about the details and was obviously upset. When I expressed that I was apprehensive about what I would look like after, he said, 'Would you rather have longer teeth or teeth no longer?' Both he and his assistant laughed, like this wasn't devastating news for me. Interestingly enough, when I called to schedule a second opinion elsewhere, I was told they'd just had another call from someone who wanted a second opinion after having seen Dr. Meredith. All that said, they hygienist was great... gentle, kind, etc. Too bad I won't get to see him again, as I won't be back.

I was a little late... but explained that I would be when I scheduled due to work and they said it would be fine. When i got there I was turned away. Always rushed but never flexible, they don't really care about their customers. I've gone there since they opened, but I'm taking my family to another dentist. I'm not surprised that there's high turnover for hygienist and dentists there. Plus their 6 month followup is always 8+ months out. If you're looking for a dentist, skip these guys. They don't care about you... just your money. I'm going to Gentle Dental.

I called to schedule an orthodontist consultation. Once it was scheduled, I received multiple calls back informing me I needed an exam, cleaning, and X-rays done prior to the consultation because “the orthodontist needed the information before they could recommend a treatment plan”. Upon arriving for my appointment I got X-rays (the tech was wonderful), waited for the doctor, had my exam, and only then was told the hygienist is incredibly backed up and I would need to make another appointment for a cleaning. The earliest available appointment for a cleaning wasn’t for 125 days. I called to see if I could schedule with another location sooner, as I was told I needed to do this before I could meet with the orthodontist, only to find out none of this was part of meeting with the orthodontist and I had been seen as a new dental patient, independent of the orthodontist. I was charged over $100 for an exam and X-rays only, despite my insurance covering both, which no one can explain the reasoning for or even provide an itemized bill. This entire experience was horrible and incredibly deceptive. The office staff was friendly but I feel completely manipulated by the overall business practices of this company. I understand dentistry is a business but this company is obviously only concerned with how much money they can get you to spend and will use horribly unethical means to accomplish that end. I cancelled all future appointments and will not be returning.

I didn’t get my dental hygienist name but she was so nice 😊 we talked lots of stories during my cleaning and she answered all my questions. I really wish I remembered her name but she was a mother she was in the military before. So hopefully that’s enough info for you guys to recognize her because she was the best hope to have her again.

Dr. Kang and team are very kind. They made my first root canal comfortable, quick and pain free. Dr. Kang is so gentle through the entire procedure, I highly recommend seeing him and his team they are detailed and very caring. I’m incredibly thankful for the experience that they provided.

HF Dental cares for each patient. From the receptionists, who greet you warmly to the dental assistants to the doctors, especially Dr. Shin, each person is dedicated to giving the best possible care they can. Thank you, HFD staff!

Hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time so I was really anxious but my dentist made me feel so at ease and was judgement free. All the staff is so nice and friendly and scheduling my appointments couldn’t have been easier.
