Went in to have my dental issue addressed and Dr. Hirsch explained everything in detail. He was very patient, considerate, and thorough during my extraction. I did not experience any pain or complications from the procedure and only experienced tenderness after the anesthetic wore off. I did not have any need for pain relievers. Front and back staff greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly and welcoming. Great experience and a lot of my dental anxieties were put to rest. Convenient office location and hours and will definitely return for routine care. Thank you!!

The staff here is excellent and they stand behind their work even if you’re working with a new dentist rather than a previous dentist at this location. I must say, the new dentist I now have, Dr Kirsch, is excellent. He explains each process, makes sure you’re comfortable and has great interpersonal skills, not only that but he is a great technician, I would highly recommend.

Hawaii Family Dental did a excellent job doing my 5 crowns. I was in the dental seat for a grand total of about 2 hours and 45 minutes( 2 trips). Couldn't have asked for a a better and quicker dental experience. Thank you Hawaii Family Dental for providing great service!

5 months in pain...and after seeing 3 Dentists & 2 Endodontics I was finally referred to Dr. Sterling for a Tooth Extraction. At first I was overwhelmed by the paper work and questionnaire but understood that coming from an Oral Surgeon's practice cover all basics was needed. My appointment was scheduled at 8:30am which they advised me to come in 15 minutes earlier to complete all forms. And waited for 20minutes until I was called in by I believe Dental Assistant Stanley who took my stats, walked me through everything in detail, very informative, positive & warm demeanor. Had a slight delay with Dr. Sterling as something came up with the patient before me(understandable). Once I met Dr. Sterling he also was very informative in regards to a certain type of medication I have been on and covered all possibilities on the procedure. For some reason I was feeling quiet overwhelmed and more nervous as ever (even if I extracted teeth before) but Dr. Sterling assured me he could also administer Laughing Gas along with the Topical Anesthesia. I declined. When the procedure took place I was totally in shock as it lasted less that 10 Minutes to me it was so fast and with MINIMAL PAIN! Stanley went over the after care and sent me on my way with my Care Package and Prescription for pain. I went home resumed my Home Duties, rested a bit and was in slight pain. Next day I am FINE, again minimum pain....But Thank Goodness the pain felt from 5 months is over! I Highly recommend seeing Dr. Sterling and Staff. Should I ever need an Extraction they will Certainly be my 1st Choice. Prior to going in the Staff Shaylin called me that they already verified my Insurance coverage and I had No Co-Pay.....Yay!! The office was welcoming and professional from the moment we walked in the doors.

My son could not wait for his scheduled appointment due to a toothache so the office squeezed us in the next day.

The assistant settled us in, and Dr. JD Westphal came in and reassured me and my son that the tooth that is bothering him will be taken cared of.

Dr. Westphal and his assistant did a great job with my son. They kept communicating to each other and to my son. The front office discussed the finances and explained each charge.

Thank you Hawaii Family Dental Ka Makana Alii 🤙🏼🤙🏼 We hope to keep the visits to a minimum to the twice a year cleanings 🤞🏼😬

First encounter ever today on phone with the office. Mandee whom I spoke to Was very pleasant and answered all my questions. She was very helpful and not lazy like some other receptionists from other places I know. I felt valued before I ended the call.
