Boise Family Dental Care

I have been with Boise Family Dental Care for around one and half years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with their service and professionalism.
They take a lot of care to hear my concerns and provide their suggestions. I regularly go for teeth cleaning and the Doctor(s) and Dental Hygienist have done a really good job on cleaning them and in turn allowing me affordable dental care.

I had the most relaxing visit!

The staff is very kind and quick. The hygienists are friendly, gentle, and nice.

I was falling asleep during my cleaning because of how relaxing the whole experience was.

It took about two hours. I assume that's normal, but I don't know. This was my first trip to a dentist since high school, but I'll be going way more often now.

Truly exceptional service! Everyone from the front desk, dental assistant, anesthesiologist, financial/scheduling to the dentist himself were extremely friendly, professional and just flat out made me feel welcome! I am beyond impressed with how gentle they were and I didn't feel any pain at all! Surprising, given the fact that needles were used to numb the area where my partial wisdom tooth was being extracted. Dr. Crumb got the job done quickly, with ease and now hours later I still have no pain! This definitely isn't my first rodeo with dental work but is by far the BEST dental experience I've ever had! Choose Boise Family Dental Care with confidence! Really happy that I did!

I made the mistake of coming here a year ago, as a college student with no insurance, to get a cleaning, because I was tired of my previous hygienist cancelling the morning of my cleaning and wasting my time. Honestly, I preferred my time being wasted by the previous hygienist over Boise Family Dental Care.

Boise Family Dental Care was more concerned about feeling me out for how much money I had and if I had insurance. I made the mistake of letting them know I had a job offer for a comfy job at a high-profile tech company, and I would be getting dental insurance in a year. They were also quite rude, and told me that I should look into getting braces (my teeth are as straight as naturally possible) and asked me if I would be interested in getting invisaligns (I couldn't even afford something like that, but they were pushing this on me anyway as if something was so terribly wrong with me that it would be necessary). They also were pushing whitening and other (expensive) cosmetic products.

I came in for a simple teeth cleaning and ended up with expensive X-rays I did not want nor ask for (that the dentist used to make snide comments about my teeth), and a bill for $331. I still had a wisdom tooth at this time, and they wanted to pull it, but I opted not to (I can only imagine how much they would've charged for a simple extraction -- I went to my previous dentist instead, who I trust, and had it removed for mere dollars).

After my experience just trying to get a cleaning, I had already made up my mind that I wasn't going to be returning. I do not have any interest in supporting a business that belittles me, flattens my confidence, is interested in my wallet more than my well-being, then rips me off for a 10 min cleaning. In addition, the hygienist was very rough and caused my gums to bleed and my mouth to hurt (I floss and take good care of my teeth -- the only thing positive the dentist said to me was that my teeth were in good health).

Unfortunately, because they found out I'd have insurance in a year (and I bought up my PPO nonetheless), they went ahead and scheduled an appointment for me without my consent. A year later, I didn't even know I had an appointment since they did not bother to contact me. However, they did go as far as to find my new address and bill me $25 for missing an appointment that was not medically necessary, and also in the middle of a pandemic. Amazing.

Boise family dental is awesome, kelli has got to have the softest touch of any assistant I have ever had, can barely tell she's working in your mouth. Dr. Krump is very friendly and personable also, makes for a great visit. Thanks!

I love this office. The staff is friendly and always accommodating, and the dentists have a very friendly bedside manner. In addition, it's the only office I've been to where I can get a crown done all in one day. This office has the equipment to make crowns right there at your first appointment without having to wait for a lab to do it, and the quality of the materials they use is great! Great people, great service, and quality products. What more could anyone ask for?

What a fabulous practice! I am so thrilled I was referred here by a co-worker. I was able to get in within two days of calling to make an appointment, and they have hours that accommodate those who have traditional working hours. My hygeniest Kelly was friendly, professional, and thorough with her work. I swear my teeth have never felt cleaner! Dr. Crump was congenial, down to earth, and prompt with our visit as well. I look forward to continuing service here and hopefully exploring an Invisalign option in the future!

I had unbelievable tooth pain and had to have an immediate dental intervention to alleviate the mind numbing pain I was experiencing. I chose the first and closest dental office off of google maps, and thankfully it was Boise Family Dental Care. From the beginning they offered quick and reliable care to me in a time of need (especially notable with Covid-19 in progress). They assessed my needs quickly, and were 100% transparent and upfront about all costs before proceeding, so there were no hidden costs. The staff are incredibly accommodating and caring. The doctor as well, along with being thorough and knowledgeable. He helped me understand what my situation and explained options available to proceed with, with me being the deciding factor. I have a major irrational fear of needles, which they helped me through and made easy for me to manage when I needed to be numbed. I never felt overwhelmed or out of control of the situation. They helped me through my tribulation and kept it affordable with options (disclaimer: my insurance helped a lot). This tooth experience went from being painful and scary, to a major relief. I have nothing but thanks for Boise Family Dental and their staff.
