Everyone's Family Dentist

This is the worst dentist I've ever been to in my life I am 6 months pregnant and I called and made appointment to have teeth pulled was cleared by obgyn and it's teeth she could of pulled and they wanna send off to oral surgeon instead of pulling teeth and taking pain away lazy and worst service ever yes I work and have medical card but shouldn't matter everyone should be treated the same

Worst place ever. The staff is amazingly rude. I was told I couldn't go back with my young son while I saw other white parents go back with their KIDS with no problems or comments like I received from the hygienist AND dentist. Not pulling the race card. Just factually what happened. We waited over an hour to be treated like scum. Seriously, the worst place ever. It felt like we were bothering the staff by coming for an exam and cleaning. The front staff girls were incredibly rude and huffed when I asked questions (because nothing was explained to me, just sheets of paper shoved at me) and the rest of the staff really must've been trained the same way. I will never be back. I definitely don't need to spend my hard earned money on a dentist office that treats me like a second class citizen. I can't fathom how others are giving ratings above a one or two star. Must be related to the staff or friends of because they don't treat newcomers friendly at all. I NOW GO TO ALLIANCE DENTAL. BEST PLACE EVER!!! Even my kids love ALLIANCE even though one had to have 8 cavities filled! This place couldn't even do an exam and cleaning without teaching my son dentists are mean and don't care about you and instilling in him a fear of dentists. Thanks for nothing. So upset I wasted my time going here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ANYWHERE ELSE!! I have no affiliation with ALLIANCE at all! Was just amazed at how welcoming they were and totally the opposite of my experience here.

Beware of the Utica office! Supposedly they are 'in network' for me (ppo).They said they are. They wanted $300 up front for a cleaning and x-ray! The paper explaining their various charges and how much insurance covers had a LOT of White Out on it. It made no sense. They said they could not explain why. So I left. The 'out of network' dentist I've been going to til now charges $30 for the same services. There was only 1 friendly staff member among the 4 I spoke with here. Avoid this office.

This place was the worst experience for a dental office that I have ever experienced in my life. I went there for a teeth cleaning waited 45 minutes them tell me somethingthat they didn't think my teeth needed cleaned when clearly they just wanted to leave the office early and didn't really care whether my teeth needed cleaned or not. I changed my dental office and called in to have the x-rays transferred to my new dentist and the x-rays that I had already bought and paid for they want to charge me $50 to quote on quote release my x-rays. Simply put I would never even take my dog to this dentist office.

Dr Shah is the best dentist I have ever had. He is genuinely sincere. He explains everything he will be doing. Very professional....takes his time...and everything he does is painless. I highly recommend him for all of your dental needs.

This place is absolutely Horrible! My husband went there because he had a terrible toothache.
They took him into the back, said he needed X-Rays.
Without even trying to help with his pain as he had an exposed nerve!! They did Nothing!!
With less then even a minute looking in his mouth!
They told him he needed to go to a Oral Surgeon to have a FULL mouth extraction done & then go back to them so they could then get the ok for the dentures he would need from Medicaid!
My husband is not even 50 years old yet!!
We went for a 2nd opinion!! Just because you have Medicaid does NOT mean you deserve to be treated terribly & given terrible treatment! Or lose All teeth!
The 2nd opinion was the best thing we ever did!

This dentist was very positive that my husband was way to young for dentures & could help him!
He put a temp filling into the painful tooth which helped my husband deal with the terrible pain!

He went back to this dentist & had 2 extracted and is now a patient at this wonderful practice!
They are in Joliet,IL & worth the drive!
Do Not Hesitate to get a 2nd opinion!
My recommendation is DO NOT GO HERE!!

Sadly they can't do a cleaning on schedule, anything beyond that is an immediate "We can pull your tooth or root canal"... If the office wasn't under construction they might have a good system, but they're just collecting Medicaid with zero effort. Steer Clear.

Got there and it took us an hour to be seen.total time was 3 hrs for x Ray's that's it!! We called before we left town to make sure we were on the roster and said we were. Asked what the wait was and it was because we weren't on it!!! Seriously. Get it together. As I am waiting to be seen I'm looking around and noticing things that show their lack of give a shi* at this office like the clock that has been dead for God who knows since the hands don't move anymore. how many times have ppl walked past it??? The thermostat says don't touch anymore and is set to 66 degrees which shows ppl saving money or being stingy. then we get seen they least us down a hallway that's dark as heck to a room at the end with light. Could have tripped and hurt myself it was so dark. Then the dentist. Dr hubebe tried to charge us surgical rates for all the teeth and then send us out to a surgeon for six of them??? WTH. If your not a surgeon why are you charging us that rate when your gonna send us to one anyway. This place is ridiculous. They want easy work and charge extra for someone who needs alot. Insurance fraud much?? Oh and to top the cake the lady in the waiting room whining about KFC being closed on Thanksgiving 😂😂 absolutely silly!!

This place is obviously NOT meant for kids. My daughter walked into her very first dental appointment here with such bravery and optism, and left terrified and worse off then she walked in. The dentist tried the bare minimum to comfort my daughter, started to fix a cavity, drilled the hole too deep, burnt her mouth with the drill (denied burning her mouth to my face) and didn't even cover it with anything before telling us he was going to refer us elsewhere. She was not thrashing around, simply crying and scared, which is to be expected. The tooth is now infected and had to be extracted completely, not a problem for Tranquil Dental in Aurora though, they not only fixed the now infected tooth by extraction with only laughing gas, but also took xrays and found 4 more cavities that everyones family dental failed to find since they never even did Xrays to begin with. Don't bring your kids here people, please learn from my mistake.
