They were able to fit me in in a pinch. I came in with shooting pain in my head. The dentist very confidently diagnosed me with TMJ and teeth grinding gave me a device to help and suggested possible future therapies. Friendly staff. Very inexpensive visit.

It'd be negative if Google had that option. Dr Steven Yuen is beyond condescending and rude. Doesn't listen to you unless you put your foot down. Today walked out of appointment after sitting there for 45 minutes. Had a 830appt time. He numbs me up pretty quickly then walks away. 45min passes and nothing.

Ruined my teeth. I went from having a few cavities which gave me no pain before they did their work to almost all of my teeth hurting when I eat for the last year with no end in sight. If you are getting a cleaning, they're fine. If you need any work done, STAY AWAY.

Went in to get some fillings in. One side of my face was severely bruised for almost 2 weeks and my jaw on the other side is in constant pain. Wasn't warned at all that I'd be suffering from extreme sensitivity for 4+weeks after getting this work done. Going to another dentist to see what the heck is going on. Dr. was rough and rude. Do not recommend. EDITING FOR MORE INFO. I ended up needing more work done at a different dentist to fix the mistakes made by "Dr." Yuan. He didn't even bother making sure my bite was even so I was in more pain than necessary. Also found out today at my new dentist that one of the fillings put in by this "doctor" has cause my tooth to die and now I need a root canal. AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COSTS IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR YOURSELF!!!!!

My first impression was very favorable. Surroundings were clean and comfortable. Staff and dentist were pleasant and knowledgeable. I have future visits scheduled and hope they go as well!

Dentist was professional, all staff were friendly and professional. Will continue to do business at Aspen Dental. I saw Yelp reviews but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and was very pleased.

Avoid Dr. Steven Yuan. Rough, rude, didn’t explain anything, or let me know when some might hurt. Had 2 fillings and my teeth didn’t line up after so I couldn’t eat without severe pain until another dentist could shave some off. Maybe this is an acceptable mistake but he was out of the room before I even knew he was done. So this feels very negligent

I can't say enough positive things about the staff at the Ankeny Aspen location. I called in with a broken tooth and infection. I was immediately worked in to see a dentist. I appreciate all the care and concern each staff member gives to their patient. I will recommend this location to anyone in need of dental care. Thank You for making a painful experience so positive.

The receptionist was amazing she literally guided me through what I needed because I haven't ever been to a dentist alone! Thank you so much the Doc was amazing Dr.Y I loved it here!.
Trust your Gut
I hate going to the dentist but this experience was much different, luckily. The doctor was top notch in all areas. He was very polite and my comfort was top priority. I was very pleased with the staff and Dr. Rophie and look forward to my next few visits to correct my smile😁
