I've always had a good experience in 4+ years at Davidson Family Dentistry. Laura did my cleaning the last time and she was fantastic. Very friendly and personable.

I was referred to Davidson Family Dentistry and Dr. David Davidson from a friend. Her referral was the best and most honest I have ever received. Hands down the BEST dentistry and support staff that I have ever experienced. Dr. Davidson Sr. has a wonderful chair-side manner and I trust his knowledge and expertise. Vicki, my dental hygienist is so kind and gentle. And I love talking to Stef every time I check-in. The atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful. I love the art that is displayed all around the office and even outside! I actually look forward to going to my annual appointments! I highly recommend Davidson Family Dentistry.

Anytime a friend asks where would I suggest for a dentist, hands down Davidson Family Dentistry. I have seeing Dr. Davidson and his wonderful staff for years. From the moment I make an appointment, to the call reminder, to the warm greeting I receive every time I arrive, to sitting in the chair, my experience is professional but welcoming, like family!! They are never in a hurry and its totally pain free and anxiety free. I love the new office and its worth a little extra time to ask for a tour, so much to see!!

The office is welcoming and absolutely spotless. Their equipment is high tech and well maintained. But best of all, the staff is professional and wonderful to work with. I was referred to Dr. Davidson by my kid's pediatric dentist (who I trust completely) years ago who said that his wife goes to him. I have never been disappointed!

I finally found a dentist who is actually concerned with my feelings and my comfort!! I truly appreciate the honesty and skill level of Dr. Michael Davidson! As a patient of Dr. David Davidson more than 30 years ago, it seems only fitting for his son (Dr. Michael) to care for my teeth in my later years. I love the caring and compassionate staff! I no longer fear dental appointments! Highly recommend!

Upon entering, you are immediately met by smiling, helpful staff. Reservation confirmed, usually after a short wait, you are led to your comfortable chair. Every open space is decorated with an eclectic collection of art—many original pieces curated over the years. The strains of classical music supports a comfortable environment.

Is this the newest hot restaurant in central Iowa? Someday my dentist, Dr. David Davidson, might come up with an appetizer tray of tooth-healthy snacks as you wait for service. I say this because the experience is top of the line, providing cutting edge technology, with diagnostics and treatments.

Impressive is the word to describe Dr. Davidson’s large and efficient practice. He enters your room, a smiling, joyful garden Gnome-precious man, who is the ultimate professional. He is also a careful listener. He always leaves you with a smile.

I’ve been a patient/client for over a decade and my vistis have always been a positive experience. The Davidson Family Practice has careful and experienced associates & staff that put your comfort and dental concerns first.

One last note: Davidson has a very practical and affordable plan for people like me, who are self-employed with no employer-provided health insurance.

If I had known what I know now I would not have chosen Davidson Family Dental as my dental health provider. I had multiple unresolved dental issues highly likely causing some other health issues (according to my medical dr). This physician specifically told me to get the dental issues resolved to clear up the vast majority of the issues. Our tooth health is very much connected to our overall health. Davidson Family Dental does not take a holistic approach to dentistry, and that’s fine, that’s not their model. But if you have anything more serious going on with your dental care (and especially if you notice additional medical issues), I’d be careful about who you choose to care for you dental health. I’ve spent over $1000 at Davidson, including their membership, which I won’t be able to utilize and it’s nonrefundable, even if you explain you need care beyond what they can provide. They were highly insensitive to my situation that includes some pretty scary, concerning medical issues. Once I sought treatment elsewhere I also found out they missed several key things while I was in their care including plaque buildup and gum disease. I’ll chalk it up to a bad experience and a bad fit for the kind of care I need and expect from a physician. If you are solely seeking a cheaper cleaning (available through their membership) they may be an OK option, but you can find other places just as reasonable. And after using holistic dentistry, I now know it's a much better option over conventional dentistry.

Back before the Internet and Google reviews, I asked a coworker which dentist she went to. She told me Dr. David Davidson was great. So, I went to see Dr. Davidson and she was right. I’ve been a customer ever since. I really like Dr. Davidson, not only because he is a good dentist and cares about his customers, but he also is involved in our community and travels on dental healthcare ministry trips. I recommend him, but if you can’t get in to see him, the other dentists in his office are also great to work with, as are the rest of the staff.

My appointment went well today. I had a very kind dental hygienist who was very thorough with my teeth cleaning and polishing. She took great care to make sure I had no discomfort with the procedure.

When I retired a few years ago I lost my employer provided Dental Insurance. I was so pleased that I could easily and affordably continue with the Davidson team through the Membership Program. After thirty years of great care and service, I would not want to go anywhere else.
