I like the dog friendly environment and the interior lighting design was very relaxing - it took the receptionist a little while to confirm and update my file however it was only just a moment and they called me back

Not sure where I stand on mask policy but it is enforced still at this facility as I’m sure all clinics still are - just a little ironic that folks site mask wearing leading to dental issues long term - not that this outfit is unlike any other dental facility just not convinced that employees required to work a full shift almost always wearing their mask is always the best - I comply as always upon request but personally believe mask wearing should be by choice

While noting that in my mind is when the gal took me back - we finished the health updates - she promptly explained the x-ray procedures and began those scans directly after - she was as nice as she could be - she finished up and then detailed exactly what the Dr would do during my evaluation

Very shortly the Dr entered - immediately shook my hand and after a bit of stand up I learned is golf handicap (11) btw - everything put me at ease during our conversation - I explained my previous condition with periodontal issues and he was straight forward with my options short term and long term

I think after he quickly checked with gear on and after seeing x-rays he and I knew that we would be seeing each other again - but when I go back now to get the filling I feel I will be much more comfortable and able to relax

Just one of my phobias but dentists visits normally give me the heebee geebees and I feel more optimistic this time (at least until I hear the drill start up) :)

Let me start off by saying I’ve been a patient here for almost 30 years (my entire life). Dr. Olberding is incredible at what he does. The problem is with the reception and scheduling staff. My family has slowly noticed Shawna becoming more and more short and snippy over the years.

Slowly they have all found other dentists due to her rudeness and unwelcoming demeanor. I was the last one going here because I had never had a problem until recently. I had a 7:30 AM appointment and I’m a new dad with no clue what I’m doing, who woke up with a sick kid and had to cancel at the beginning of the day, which was unfortunate.

Through some additional interaction I felt some frustration on Shawna’s end and finally asked what was going on ? She seemed very annoyed and mentioned that I miss my appointments a lot. Which I’m not sure how that is the case when you go twice a year for cleaning, I feel like a lot is a stretch. I asked her to better explain which ones I missed, she put me on hold and then hung up. When I called back she was unavailable.

I was so bothered by this having known these people my whole life that I went in to talk to them with no change in outcome. Dr Olberding simply said well “you work on your sick kid and I’ll work with her” which I’m not even really sure what that means.

Bottom line you don’t treat people like that. In today’s world where things are constantly changing, I have a young family, I’m in and out of the state for the last 10 years serving in the Army, it’s almost impossible to know what my schedule will be in six months so yes changes happen, but a receptionist should not be taking it personal, and lashing out at patients like that. It isn’t your place.

Bottom line, there at many skilled dentists out there, I wouldn’t recommend putting up with a snarky receptionist just to go see one. If I’ve been a patient that long and she can treat me like that, I think it’s clear she doesn’t value the customers at the office.

All of the staff are extremely nice and personable. I've been to many dentists and Dr Olberding by far the best and nicest one I've met. Can't recommend this place enough!

I've always had great service at EP True. The staff is very friendly and professional. It's the only place where I can say I had a pleasant trip to the dentist.

The staff in the whole practice are very professional and have great customer service skills. Dr. Olberding was fast and informative which made the flow of the visit great. My dental hygienist Rhonda was very personable and easy to connect with. I was afraid at first going since it had been awhile that I last visited a dentist... But Rhonda was able to ease the visit and did a very thorough job cleaning my teeth. Best of all, I was able to get a same day referral to the Oral Surgeons, P.C. Overall, a great practice with great people. Thank you!

Good people! I've been going here for over 10 years and have been real happy with them. Everybody I've come and contact with in the office does a real good job and has been very courteous every time I visited.

everyone is always very friendly and helpful. Anything that needs done is explained thoroughly. Would highly recommend this dental office!

Absolutely love this place!!! The staff is very professional, friendly and courteous. Dr. Olberding is a very honest person and he truly cares about his patients.

I have nothing but good things to say about E.P. True Dental. All of the staff is extremely kind and did a great job with me as a patient. I feel like this is a practice that truly cares about their patients. I highly recommend them to anyone in the DSM metro community.

Always a great experience at EP True Dental! Would recommend them if you are looking for a dentist in the area. (UPDATE: Still a great experience, even 6 months later!)
