Love the BlueStem Dental team! They are kind, compassionate, fun and professional. I recently moved across the city, but am still going to BlueStem for my dental work. They have earned my business.

The entire staff is amazing! Dr. Haake and Dr. Dahlquist are great. There seems to be very little turnover in staff which is very reassuring to me. I have seen both Haake and Dahlquist plus several hygienists and never had a bad experience. Both of my kids come here and look forward to it every time!! Comfortable and efficient! I frequently recommend to friends and family.

I knew my initial visit with Dr Haake would be a rough one as I hadn't been to the dentist in far to long and knew I had some problems. Everyone there was extremely nice and informative. 5 stars for the hygienist that worked with me. Dr. Haake took his time with my exam, explained our plan of action and never acted like he needed to move on to the next customer. It was a very busy Monday morning but I never felt rushed or that I was given any less attention then someone just getting a routine cleaning.

There are many competent dentists in Kansas City, but Dr. Altomare stands out because of her excellent bedside manner. She is kind, compassionate, and reassuring. I highly recommend her, especially to anyone with anxiety surrounding going to the dentist. I can't imagine going to anyone else!

I recently switched to Haake Family Dental due to a change in my insurance. I have had 3 visits with them and each time the staff has been very nice, friendly and efficient. My time in the waiting room is always super short and my entire visit only takes about 30 minutes (I always spent at least an hour at my last dentist!). I also like that it is a relaxed and calm atmosphere.

One of the kindest, most professional health care experiences I've had; complete with phone calls from Dr. Haake before and after my visit to inquire about questions I might have and follow-up to see if I was doing alright post-procedure. I certainly don't expect that every visit, but even to happen one time - very rare in health care to see that! So thoughtful with thorough and quick service. Highly recommend this office!

Best dental experience I have had since moving to Kansas City. Every staff member was warm, welcoming and very informative. Dr. Haake and my hygienist did a wonderful job and even followed up with my after my cleaning. I book my husband an appointment the very same day! Would recommend to anyone!

The first time I had a tooth extracted (with another provider), it was pretty rough. I was nervous then, when my appointment arrived. I explained my past experience, and they were sympathetic and gentle. The doctor and the assistant Liz did a great job - - very little discomfort, and unlike at my last provider's extraction, I didn't feel rushed out or pressured to upgrading to more expensive services. Bravo to the Haake team.

I'm was a first time visitor to this office. I'm also a senior citizen and have been a patient of many many dental hygienist and dentists. Visiting the office of Haake Family Dental was a rewarding experience. I was very impressed and pleased with everyone I can into contact with before and during my visit. The RDH (Michelle) and Dr. Stephen Haake were the best I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone.

I get so incredibly anxious at the dentist. Everyone at BlueStem is so patient with me! I had a filling done wjth Dr. Korchi today and she was great! No pain during it (which is not the case for my past fillings with other dentists). Thank you! :)
