I returned to have a cavity filled. Once again the staff was friendly and the doctor was right on time. I was in and out in no time at all. I highly recommend BlueStem to anyone searching for a dentist in the area.

My daughter cracked her tooth yesterday and we discovered it last night when she brushed her teeth. They were amazing at getting us in right away today and getting things taken care of. We had the best case scenario in treatments, and although we hadn’t ever met Dr Kortje she was fabulous to work with. She was patient and kind with my daughter and explained the extraction that was needed and finished quickly! We live in Gardner but love being patients at Blue Stem.

I made an emergency appointment with Dr. Kortje, DDS and she performed an extraction of my molar the same day. She and her entire staff were professional, friendly and made sure I was comfortable my entire visit.
Dr. Kortje even called me later that day to check in on me. I will definitely continue my dental journey with this practice.

I just moved to the area this year, my husband and I had our first appointments 6 months ago. I was pregnant at the time and Jenna was SO amazing, and made me feel so comfortable.
Past experiences with other dentists have left me cringing when they scrape your teeth. BlueStem was so nice, they used different tools with water and vibrations to clean the teeth as opposed to the scrapers.
I went in today for my second appointment and had equally as positive of an experience. Jenna is so friendly and professional. So happy with this dentist office. They were also extremely accommodating and flexible in working with our schedules!!
And to add to it, they sent us a card with a baby gift the week before my son was born. SO thoughtful! Absolutely love BlueStem!!

Our most recent visit to BlueStem went very well, as with all prior visits. We were once again completely satisfied with the care given by our Hygienists and Dr. Altomare. The procedures and advice were spot-on!
Due to cut-backs in the General Mills Retiree Insurance Program, we lost our dental insurance at year's end. We checked the wide range of alternatives and ended up selecting the BlueStem Dental program for their reasonable costs. Of course, the staff at the Overland Park location was also a big factor in our choice.

BlueStem Dental is wonderful! They do a great job with general dental cleanings and when you have a tooth that needs some attention. The staff is very friendly and explains everything they’re doing as they work. I had a tooth that was aching and they got me in within a day (would have been same day if my schedule was my typical at work). Would highly recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist! :)

HIGHLY recommend BlueStem dental! Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had! Like majority of us, I dread going to the dentist but from the moment I walked in and spoke to the receptionist I felt completely comfortable. My dental hygienist, Paige was absolutely AMAZING! I can’t even begin to say enough good about her! She is the absolute best hygienist I’ve ever had and I’ll definitely be requesting her every time. The dentist came in and was so personable and completely thorough with me. They were upfront and explained all costs going forward. From start to finish I was so highly impressed with this place and everyone who works here! They deserve 100 stars!
