I took my 2.5 year old son for a cleaning yesterday. My son had a great visit.
His teeth were cleaned by a wonderful hygienist (Afsoun) and he was thought how to better brush his teeth and the importance of regular brushing.
During the visit, 1-2 cavities were found and Dr. Dechter made time to fix the cavities right then, instead of us having to come back for a second visit. My son actually had fun and he walked away with clean teeth, no cavities, a red balloon, some cool stickers, and a big smile on his face.
During the car ride home he said wants to go back again.

Most people dread going to the dentist. My dental hygienist, Afsoun, is so gentle and caring so I feel very relaxed. Dr. Moy is a wonderful dentist. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

I've only been to this dentist a couple of times (for cleanings and x-rays), but so far the service had been great. The staff are friendly and take their time with you. Nice to have such an amazing small business right here in Wheaton/Glenmont instead of having to trek out to Rockville like I do for a lot of my medical care.

The practice had been highly recommend by a family friend whose judgement I trust, and so I came in with elevated expectations which were easily surpassed. I was very impressed with the practice's mastery of technology both in its marketing/customer communications channels, and -- more importantly -- operations and actual practice. Real-time shared viewing with a pen camera and x-rays are without precedent in my long history with various dentists. My entire family will be signing on to the practice.

I had a cerec crown break (it was several years old), and within two hours of arriving at the dental office I had a new crown placed--not a temporary--a complete new crown. Extremely responsive and fast and a perfect new crown. I don't know anywhere else i could feel so confident that I would receive this level of attention and skill. Best. Dentist. Ever. It is amazing to get a permanent crown completed in one visit to the dentist in just 2 hours. No need to have a temporary crown and then come back 2 weeks later to have the permanent crown put in. Dr. Dechter did an excellent job, and I was very satisfied.
