I've had a couple dentist's in the past that were not very friendly. When I went here they were very understanding and friendly to deal with. They also provide a monthly payment plan which is helpful.

Dr. Gengel and the whole crew were great today. Went in for a whitening and the whole office was friendly and professional. Got amazing results and was in and out quickly! Highly recommended.

Red flag when your dentist does the cleaning, exam, and can’t answer basic questions. I was 2 months postpartum and she tried to diagnose me with gum disease and needing a procedure to deep clean the bones. I declined and reminded her of extra blood flow to the gums when you’re pregnant or postpartum. 1 year later I went to a different dentist who said I have really healthy gums and teeth. My boyfriend also went here and had major problems with a root canal and crown. Took 2.5 hours for our cleaning too. I would never recommend this “good looking” place. Not enough time or space to explain all of the issues we had.

I don’t recommend Blaine Dentistry. I was told I have a gum infection and I requested to do basic cleaning before I plan for gum infection treatment but I was told they don’t do basic cleaning with out gum infection treatment. To my surprise, doctor told that her license will be seized if they do basic cleaning when I have gum infection. I don’t know how much truth in this.

WORST DENTIST EVER!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE! Went in for 6 mo appointment. Mentioned minor sensitivity. X- rays were done showing some decay between my teeth in two areas that were right next to each other. Dentist recommended composites. Composites were competed. Following the procedure, food and floss were getting stuck in between the areas composites were done. Every time after eating I would have to pry food out of the area with floss, toothpick, anything! Floss would tear and become stuck. I proceeded to go back in. X- rays were done again. Dentist told me that I had a chipped tooth next to the area were the composite was completed and that is what was causing food to get stuck. With looking at the x-rays myself, it appeared the composites were overlapping one another ( which would make since since I was getting something as small as floss stuck in between. How does one end up with a chip in their tooth in one week? The chip was not seen on the x-ray done a week prior. The only thing that occurred in a week was that dentist putting a drill in my mouth! Dentist recommended fixing this newly found chip. I went ahead, which I should not had, and paid ADDITIONAL $ for a chip that was more then likely caused by him himself. I still am getting floss and food stuck in between my teeth were the composites were completed. I should have read prior reviews, as you can see they just want your money! Such a huge disappointment. I would rather have minor sensitivity, now instead I have a bigger issue and spent a ton of $.
Oh forgot to mention.....During my first visit I had to be injected not once, but twice in the same area with Novocaine! Dentist injected Novocaine and said, "Let this kick in ," then left to go work a different Patient. Dentist did not return for over 20-25 minutes so then, during the middle of my composite procedure I had to be yet injected AGAIN with Novocaine. I have never in my 40 yrs of life have had this happen. Who whats to get shot with a needle twice for no reason?? Please do not go here! There are plenty of dentists in the Blaine area!

Dr Gengel is by far the best dentist I have ever had. She really wants what's best for her patients long term. I needed a lot of work to make my teeth healthy again so I was nervous to be seen. Dr Gengel took the time to go over my concerns and put together a plan that works for my budget. The rest of her team is great too. The front office staff was so friendly and her assistant Jo Jo made the visit fun. If you want a great experience with a dentist who cares, go to Blaine Dentistry.

The staff is gracious and very personable! The doctor initiated a conversation piece that showed she remembered me! I appreciate how the hygienists answer questions and teach on dental care, as well.

I would give ZERO stars if I could! I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone, my husband had a broken tooth over the weekend and was set up for an appointment at 7:30 am today. When he got there the office was locked and not a single person was there and when he tried to call he sat on hold for over an hour waiting for a call center to pick up. After 2 hours of trying to get through, I finally reached someone at the call center that informed me that there was no one scheduled in that office today and they are closed!!!!!!!!! Why would you schedule an appointment if you have NO staff!?? So now he missed 2 hours of work and still has a broken tooth. What a joke!

I went in for a tooth ache and the only people there was the dentist and the hugentist. The Dentist said the tooth needed to come out but I really didn't think it was that bad but I proceeded to have it pulled. Now am I wrong but doesn't the surgeon remove the tooth? Anyways while pulling the tooth she had to get me 8 shot of nova cane. The tooth took over an HOUR to extract and it came out in little pieces. I just do t think the dentist had the strength to do. At 1 point I asked if I could have a go at it. Obviously no. But when all was finished I paid and left in excruciating pain. The next morning I woke up to find a scab that covered the left half of my lips and she chipped a tooth wrenching so hard to get the bad tooth she was using my good tooth for leverage and chipped it. Auuuuuuugh! Never will I ever go back to that dentist again.
