The initial contact with check in was good. Not knowledgeable about pre billing letter I received the day prior to my visit. Comments were rudely made when other staff members were nearby, seriously considered walking out.
Actual hands-on personnel were much more pleasant.

Connie is an Angel!!! The BEST bedside manners EVER! When your teeth are in bad shape you hate going to the dentist. She was very caring understanding and sweet. Every dentist office should have a Connie. 💜😇💜

The office staff were incredible. I chose this place because of them. They were warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming both on the phone and in person.

The hygienist acted cold and distant. My daughter has had a bad experience at a dental office before and the office staff knew, so they were talking warmly with my daughter and asked the hygienist to give my daughter a sticker. The hygienist replied, "I already gave her one..." That was that, I guess...

Neither the hygienist nor the dentist explained what was happening to my daughter or to me. She said she had different techniques to try to make my daughter feel comfortable. I explained to her that her Grammy worked on the song, "Johnny, Johnny" to practice opening her mouth wide for the dentist and the dentist replied, with exasperation, "Oh THAT song? I hear it ALL day long!!"

The behaviour and cooperation of the dentist got worse and worse and we were not even able to examine my daughter's teeth or do any part of the appointment because she scared her.

Her tone became stronger when we didn't position as she requested. I explained how she had requested and that is what we were doing, but she apparently misspoke and took it out on us.

We did not do the appointment. I took my daughter out right then and left the building, disappointed and worried for my daughter's future view of dentistry. I'm actually speaking gently compared to how we were treated.

I feel it's important to state that I was the only fun one in that back room and both the hygienist and dentist came across as crabby. This did not put anyone at ease. I want them to know that it's important to help the client feel comfortable because they have the important job of representing their profession and the importance of healthy teeth for a lifelong commitment of care when dealing with children. You're their FIRST major impression of getting care for one's mouth and teeth.

It IS possible to help children enjoy receiving care for their teeth. Luckily, we found a great dentist and staff now and she can't wait to go back.

I’ve had great experiences at Apple Tree Dental. They have been friendly and knowledgeable. They are always able to see me right away. They discuss the different options for my teeth and have made it as affordable as possible. I highly recommend.

It could be a lot better.

My previous dentist at this location used a bite block to keep me from biting down, and I did not need it. I had to tell the dentist not to do that again, and most surprisingly he abided by that. I thought it was very dehumanizing. He no longer works there. Although they have done well with my teeth, I think that their demeanor could be a lot better. Unfortunately, I have to go here because of my insurance.

Good job, but please work on your demeanor. You help people. Be a little nicer. Thanks.

Place has always been great since my kids have gone there the past 5-6 years .
I was able to get my son in ASAP since he had a loose baby tooth and they did a great job pulling not just the loose one but another baby tooth that needed to be pulled on his upper left cheek .
What they missed was he had a cavity on a baby tooth on the right side in the front .
They took xrays and everything the same day they pulled his tooth on the left side but somehow missed that so I no longer wish to return here and will be taking my kids to the local dentist that is just 10 minutes away instead of a 20 minute commute and long wait times to even get in for regular appointments .

They told me that that my teeth were decaying at a very rapid rate; and to lie to the government for help with costs.

I had only ever gone to this dentist because it was where my mom went and always took me as a child. I've had work done by them before and needless to say, it's not the BEST work. They had placed a filling on one of my molars and proceeded to file down way too much when I was younger. To this day, you can feel the difference. And I'm not talking about "Oh, it's in my mouth, of course I'm going to feel the difference.", I'm saying my boyfriend can feel it with his fingers and recognize how short and flat it is in comparison.
I have had nothing but bad experiences here that often left me crying when I got home as a child; but let's get back to the breaking point.
One of my molar teeth had chipped really bad(probably due to the bad filling they had placed on it years prior), so I scheduled my first dentist's appointment as an 18 year old w/out insurance. I was already really nervous about being there but I figured that it was high time I got over the anxiety. The dentist's assistant came and got me and proceeded to take 1 x-ray of the side of my mouth with the chipped tooth. The left side.

The actual dentist came in and she was an older foreign woman with a heavy accent. She looked at my x-ray for all of about 20 seconds and proceeded to tell me that my teeth were decaying at a very rapid rate and that I had at least 6 cavities on the 1 side alone. I was stunned and asked her why this might be. She told me that it was because I didn't brush my teeth. At that point, I nearly started shaking. She did no explaining for the chipped tooth that I had come in for and left. It was less than a 5 min ordeal.
I began asking the assistant what I could do, because I brush my teeth at least once a day and every other day I put in the extra effort to brush twice and floss. She seemed sympathetic and said it maybe had something to do with my diet. I was still shocked but felt very guilty for eating all of the sweets I do.
She walked me out of the room and told me how tough it must be paying for these things on my own without the help of my parents. She brought me a piece of paper and explained how if I filled it out and pretended I was boarding at my college and not living with my parents, I could get on medical assistance through the gov and they could help me. She was very hush hush about it and told me not to tell anyone. I folded the piece of paper and thanked her. I paid the $70 dollars for the x-ray at the desk and left.
It was only till I got in my car that I broke down crying in the parking lot. Eventually, I wiped my tears and went home to tell my parents what had happened. They read the piece of paper and were shocked. They told me how fraudulent that was and how I would be the one to get in trouble for lying to the gov.
They still wouldn't help me pay for it, but they said I should choose a different dentist. I looked at reviews and spent the time to choose a dentist of my liking.
Long story short, I go to a different dentist and they have redefined the whole idea for me. I feel comfortable there and actually have made friends with the staff there which is crazy.
***But here's the kicker. The first time my new dentist x-ray'd my mouth. My WHOLE mouth. I was scared of hearing the same news but was ready to take action on my endless cavities. He told my that my teeth were not any worse than most people and that I had only 1 cavity. ONE CAVITY. I was so relieved that my mouth wasn't "decaying at a rapid rate", and it wasn't even on the side that the previous dentist had looked at. It was on the right side. And that x-ray costed $60 dollars with a cleaning. I told them about the previous experience and they told me that I should definitely report it.
Apple Tree is crooked and I question all of the previous work they have done on my mouth. They take advantage of people, so I HIGHLY recommend you go literally anywhere else.
