Very good care from both the graduate student who did the root canal and the dental student working on the crown. Always considerate and wanting to make sure the patient understands treatment. Glad to come to the U for dental care.

The student and overseeing faculty member were thorough, seemed very competent, communicated clearly and thoroughly and were friendly. They addressed all my concerns and laid out my options. I'm so grateful to be back in the care of the dental school and grateful also for the security and covid protection measures.

Talked to just about the rudest receptionist I've ever encountered. Answered the phone with a simple "hello" after much fumbling around with the phone. Sounded like I woke her up from a nap. Immediately started telling me the whole drill for a new patients and wouldn't let me get a word in to tell her that I am a returning patient! I understand she probably talks to a lot of idiots on the phone everyday but if it's your job to answer the phone then you need to do it respectfully and patiently. I work in the hospitality industry and I was not impressed. HOWEVER. As far as the actual dental clinic goes, it is great. But PLEASE get friendlier people on the phone.

I've always liked the Minnesota school of dentistry because of the way they treat you as a patient. I've been going there since I was a kid and now my kid also goes there. I like the fact that they practice giving shots on each other to learn how to give shots for novocain. They're very helpful and the teachers and instructors are top of the line. It's nice to have a new dentist on a regular basis rather than the same dentist over and over again that isn't in the process of learning more every day. I would highly suggest the you then school dentistry to anyone who can attend. They do everything from braces to extractions and whitening 2 bridges. Everything you can think about at the school of dentistry is done within this one facility.

I got a root canal here several months ago. I was not treated well. My tooth had a huge dent in it after, but I was not given a mirror. My bite was different as well. My bottom front tooth now does not touch the upper teeth AT ALL. He did not communicate with me when I might feel pain. When I did feel pain while the composite material was being placed I gave the hand signal. He told me I was just feeling warmth and not pain. It hurt enough to bring tears to my eyes. I was not offered laughing gas or anything to help my anxiety. He shoved me out the door with no pain medication. I had to leave work i was in such bad pain. The doctor was very rude and I felt like I was just another test he had to take rather than a patient or a person.

Had a very good experience with my dental student today. Explained everything very well.

The attention to detail is great. Materials and techniques are always cutting edge. Appointments sometimes take a little more time because all work is checked by faculty members, and I have always been happy with the results.

I have been coming to the U for years sometimes I'd stray but not for long. The staff and students are AMAZING! I feel so welcomed there. They are comforting and compassionate and they really do take very good care of you.

What a great clinic to get your dental work done! I had not been to a dentist in a while, and I knew I would need some work done. Grayson was the dental student that was assigned to me. He was kind, gentle, very thorough, explained everything in detail & took his time to listen to me. I found Grayson to be very skilled & did a beautiful job on my teeth! I also felt the dental professors to be kind, gentle & very professional. Thank you U of M Dental School.
