The U of M is the top medical care you can get, I believe. The U of M Dentist Clinic is where I go, and students are the ones caring for me. They have always been KIND, patient, thorough, and I have never had any problems.
I pay very very little because in return I spend around 2-3 hours there each time. Wow is it worth it though!!

If you want a thorough examination and care this is the place to go! The students are checked and monitored so all work is done with extremely well. Your average dentist out there isn't being watched and graded. These students are fantastic.

This is the best place to go to if u need to see someone right now. They will take care of you and most likely the same day!! Patient, caring, gentle, and the prices are unbeatable. Andrew DeWitt graduates next month so I'm foimg to have to find a new student but they are all in good hands!!

I was very skeptical about going to the school of dentistry and boy I’m sure glad I am there! They are so thorough and keep me in the loop as to what’s going on. Professional and friendly. I leave there with a happy smile knowing they’re taking good care of me! I recommend them to any of you who are considering going there but are skeptical as I once was! I am very excited to be having some major work done well and at half the cost!

Our healthcare system is broken and the UoF School of Dentistry billing office has done absolutely nothing to help navigate it.
I've had an outstanding amount owed on a claim that was submitted for a service date of 2/24/22. When I inquired into why it was denied (I should have verified this before, I know) they told me it was actually a mistake on their end and they would resubmit it and it would get covered.
This was in June.
Almost two months pass and I re-inquire as my claim status did not update. I got the same response, someone had entered in the insurance incorrectly and it would be fixed.
Another month passes and nothing has changed. My insurance said they only received 2 claim submissions but my count from UofM SoD was supposedly 3. The 2nd submitted to insurance one lined up with the more recent resubmitted claim from UoF SoD. They denied the claim saying it was an exact duplicate of the first submitted claim.
I can't believe this has been going on for six months now and not only do I not have a bill for what I owe, but they keep claiming to be able to resolve it without one and there it sits.
If you can find another TMD in network, I encourage you to do so. It's not worth it.

Extremely conscientious, friendly, and skilled dental students and very close supervision by faculty have afforded me excellent treatment while helping the students gain experience with their clinical practice. Treatment plans will take a longer duration than at a private dentist because there is limited "chairs" that all the students must compete over to "fit in" all the patients they must treat in order to attain student clinical practice requirements. Be patient and be a patient at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and do good for yourself whilst doing good for a fine group of future dentists.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted, the nurse and dentist were so great. They kept me very comfortable through the whole procedure and were sure to keep checking up on me. The whole thing was way easier then I expected. I wasn't put under and I'm glad I wasn't. Excellent place for dental work.
