I have been going to Northwest Dental group for the last 20 yrs (from their first location) and I am very satisfied with their services. Honest, competent and friendly staff. Very welcoming environment.

Great Place. Dr. Hanson is kind and gentle, he also takes the time to answer any questions related to the plan of care.

Friendly, competent, quick. Been coming here since very first dentist visit as a wee lad and have never had a bad experience. (Also, they're very generous with their goody bags!)

Awesome visit yesterday. I was surprised..my crowns were in and they had time too put them in. Yay!!!
Plus my daughter had an awesome first visit to your office. She loudly voiced to me on the way home "I like it there!".

Worst experience ever!
I made my appointment for teeth cleaning at 14th St Clinic, but received nothing except worst experience and bill. After checked in, I have been ordered to complete 2 sets of x rays, fixed tooth examination and deep cleaning. I claimed I just want a regular teeth cleaning this time , however, my request was denied by the service lady. She said it is unethical to do regular clean unless I accept the fixed tooth examination and deep cleaning. The service lady kept asking my private information about my family members, ages and jobs and etc even when my mouth was full of liquid. I feel she was forcing me to buy their more expensive services, and my needs and rights as a patien has been totally disregarded.
After one hour repeated examinations and talks, I received nothing that I requested. I was very disappointed and have to check out myself.

It had been 5 years since I had been to a dentist. I know, I know but insurance and finding time were always my excuses. This year I ran out of them and finally was looking for a dentist in the Rochester area after living in Minneapolis for a number of years. I was referred to Northwest Dental by a coworker and scheduled an appointment for a cleaning.

The day of the appointment left me anxious and worried that I would be chewed out for the state of my oral hygiene. Upon checking in the receptionist warmly greeted me and gave me some new patient paperwork that was thoroughly explained. I was given a nice (and unexpected) welcome gift and after a short while was taken back to begin the cleaning. Lisa, the dental hygienist, gave me a quick tour and then got to work getting my teeth in shape. Being that I had gone so long without seeing a dental hygienist I needed a deeper clean than normal. My anxiety from earlier ebbed away as she explained why the deeper clean was needed and that getting on a flossing regimen in addition to regular cleanings would get me back on track to better oral health. Before beginning the cleaning she showed me a rundown of the charges for the next three appointments. This was a nice touch, as I knew exactly what I was getting into but only had to pay for the services performed that day. This practice deals with Mayo Employees and they knew that the services would be covered by the Mayo Reimbursement Account which I had enrolled in through work. Lisa took her time, I could tell she was determined to get every little bit of years worth of gunk off my teeth. After this was done the dentist came in and gave me a rundown of my oral health in addition to a few pointers on improving my brushing and flossing habits. I never felt ashamed, in fact I felt empowered to establish better habits to improve my teeth and gum health.

I required a few follow up appointments to perform the deeper clean on the other half of my mouth and then one more cleaning (the normal cleaning) after that. Lisa happily scheduled those appointments and then gave me the receipt for the day’s charges. Paying was a breeze and they gave me a detailed printout to bring back to work to submit for the reimbursement claim. I am extremely happy with my experience at Northwest Dental. I look forward to using them for my future appointments and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a welcoming, knowledgeable and pleasant oral health experience.

Friendly, efficient patient care. They work very well with our family of four! Love our hygienist Lyn! She is kind, gentle, and very personable! She makes me feel very relaxed.

I have always found the staff, particularly Dr. Katie Post, to be caring, thoughtful, well qualified and concerned about the welfare of their patients. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of dental work, particularly any who have some "dentist fright" from previous dental experiences.

I've been a patient of Northwest Dental Group for over 20 years, and for a very good reason. Whether it's been routine preventive care or circumstances requiring serious intervention, staff have always been thoroughly professional, candid, and easy to work with.

New to Rochester and I’m really happy with my dentist Dr. Zhou (love her!) and the care I’ve been receiving from the staff at the clinic. I appreciate how I never feel rushed when I’m with Dr. Zhou and that she actually listens to my concerns and gives good, honest recommendations. Also all the dental hygienists are super friendly and careful and thorough with their work.
