This place of business will do and say anything for money. They have no problem with over charging their customers for services they never completed. They over charged me for a cleaning that was never serviced. Gave me an extremely over priced bill that said I needed all this work done before I can get a cleaning. I went to another doctor that told me I was completely okay to do a cleaning. He also said he will not be looking at the notes from them because nothing was wrong. The thing that had me thinking the bill was a mistake was the fact that the lady at the front desk told me I didn’t owe anything. Several months later I get a bill in the mail. Not to mention they over charged my insurance as well. So I called to ask them about it and they said the bill is in fact what I owe. I explained to them that before I came I told the lady I will be getting a cleaning and X-ray only. Then I asked to speak to the manger, she had an attitude. I asked her why am I being billed for something I never received? She didn’t answer my question instead she deflected and started asking me questions. This was her tactic to get me to agree to something that was incorrect and cover up the scam. After I told her I went for an X-ray and cleaning only but didn’t get that. She started asking me did you get this done? Did you get that done? I stated again I got an X-ray but no cleaning. I also told everybody to not do anything that my insurance won’t cover. If she did something extra that I didn’t tell her to do nor consent to is not my issue. I should not have to pay for someone not to follow simple instructions. She tells me that I didn’t get the cleaning because I was nervous. What patient isn’t nervous? The lady examining my teeth seemed more nervous than me; talking to much about nothing and repeating herself. The actual doctor came in just to repeat what the examiner said with less words. So I called another American family dentistry and the lady that answered the phone corrected the problem in less than five minutes with zero attitude!

My visit was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. I made my appointment for a tooth that needed to be fixed, immediately. They state on the website that you don’t need to wait and if it’s a tooth that is really bothering you they will take care of it. So I go in they take x-rays of the tooth. I asked the assistant if she would look at one of my other teeth that way I can get them both fixed. She tells me that I will have to come back to fix my tooth and they can not look at my other tooth. At first I thought she was joking I’m at the dentist office paying for an appointment and you can’t look at my other tooth so I can pay you more money to fix both. After the assistant seen I was upset she called the Dr back in that told me he could not just block out his whole schedule for me and did I want to make another appointment to have my other tooth looked at. I said nope I’m good and left

Staff was awesome. Front desk receptionist was so kind, Alison was so awesome. She explains everything and is so funny. I would recommend everyone to go here for dental work.

Always a pleasant experience..staff friendly and interacts with the kids easily and Dr Xiao always explains what is going on and what are options look like. We have found our favorite dentist!

Dr. Yu did an awful job on my tooth. I am so upset. I went in after a small piece of my front tooth fell out while I was flossing. The chip was minor and was not noticeable from just looking at it. Dr. Yu said it just needed a small filling.

He did not fill the hole. He filed and distorted the shape of my tooth. I walked in with a confident smile that I have never been self conscious of and left with a gap in my front teeth. He destroyed my smile.

I went to Dr. Waddell in Germantown a week later to have my tooth restored. A $71 filling turned into another $200 cosmetic procedure. Dr. Waddell and his entire team were absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend them. I would advise against seeing Dr. Yu. Dr. Waddell said he couldn't even see evidence of a filling on my tooth.

Dr. Yu treated me like more money in his pocket. He worked in a rushed manner and his only concern when he was done was getting his assistant to book me and my family for more work at his office. I'm so angry at the amount of stress and discomfort I went through after visiting the Olive Branch American Family Dentistry office.

Great place! Macy is my favorite hygienist she is so awesome! The rest of the staff is also friendly as well

I had a major toothache and they got me in right away. Dr. Yu was great! He was thorough about the extraction procedure and he pulled my bad tooth out in no time. I highly recommend him as a dentist. Thanks Dr. Yu!

Everyone was incredibly helpful and attentive. I plan on continuing to visit and would recommend anyone else to give it a try.

I went to this dentist a while ago I forgot the doctor’s name but he told me I need a root canal but instead filled it in like a cavity… couple months later, I have the worst dental i’ve ever had in my life and now they won’t answer the phone. 0/10 would not recommend
