Water Tower Dental Group and Orthodontics

I cannot say enough positive things about this dental office. EVERYONE is so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Their Assistant, Kati, goes above and beyond to explain things and make you feel comfortable. I have had a dental issue for years that is improving for the first time since I switched dentists. This office gets a 10 out of 5!!!

UPDATE: My father and I went to a different dentist in Arnold and were both told we did NOT have gum disease and could proceed with normal, bi-annual cleanings. Oral health is extremely important, so I'm glad I walked away from what felt like a scam and found a team that feels trustworthy.

My father and I were both told we had gum disease (news to us despite regular biannual dentist exams) and I was charged $149 for x-rays and a special cleaning and told my next one would be covered by insurance. They told my dad he needed services that would cost close to $700 due to his diagnosis. My mom spent over $700 getting a crown replaced and a root canal necessitated by the procedure. Overall she was pleased with her experience. My father did some research concerning the price of services at Water Tower Dental and found that they are on the high end. I understand that professional services can often be expensive, but the approach they take to billing and the abundance of nice decor/TVs made me feel as if they were just passing on the cost of these niceties to the patient. They seemed thorough, but the other things that were red flags for me now make me question whether I can trust their diagnoses. It's definitely a nice atmosphere and they seem to cater to kids, so if you have a child that hates the dentist it may be a good choice for you. But for cost-conscious folks like my father and me, it didn't seem like a good fit.

My teeth are awful because of a medicine I have to take, and the last dentist I went to messed them up further by basically building crowns for me out of filling material, resulting in the fillings cracking and causing pain for me.
I finally signed up for an HMO and Water Tower Dental was the only place in the area that would accept it. They have amazing equipment that's much more modern than any other dentist I've been to, so x-rays were a LOT more comfortable than I'm used to. The people here are fast and friendly, and I always feel confident in their opinions and never like I'm being talked down to.
The assistants are lovely, when I was presented with all the work and cost of what it would take to fix my mouth, I got so stressed out I was teary eyed and nauseous (dental work is always expensive, and I need a lot if it) the assistant sat and talked with me until I calmed down, was concerned about my state of mind driving home, and even called me later in the day to be sure I was doing okay.
After taking time to think about it, I called back and they were always polite and happy to talk to me about my options for crowns. I got the bottom set on my right side done one week, and realized that one of the 3 teeth on my left side desperately needed help. I didn't have the luxury of having enough money to have the other two done at the same time, so Dr. Battaglia very generously offered another option that made things so much easier on me. I honestly could have cried, it lifted a lot of stress off my shoulders.
I'll be recommending them to anyone I know who needs dental work!

This is the only place I will come for anything dental related!!! Kaitlin provided me with amazing service and was super professional. She was very friendly and answered all the questions I had about keeping up with my teeth!

I can not say enough good things about this place! I see Dr. Shang for my braces and I absolutely love her! I also see Dr. Battaglia for my cleanings and he is the best! All of the assistants and front office girls are so welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend this office!!

Dr B and the staff did an exceptional job with my dental work. Their in house payment plan was a huge help. However, if you use Carrington, make sure to double check the coding fees. Got a crown done and the coding was worked around to charge me a lot more than Carrington plan would have. That wasn't a professional move whatsoever. I will give 2 thumbs up to Trisha for making it comfortable on the scraping and cleaning.

I've been to this location 4 times in the last 4 weeks. Lots of work needed to be done and still does. Every time has been great, everyone there does a wonderful job in explaining everything and performing the procedures. I can still afford to go about my daily life withe their reasonable pricing and scheduling times! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Had my wisdom teeth extracted here. Everyone in the office is extremely nice, and comforting. I was nervous having to be put down, but everyone did a really great job of assuring me it was going to be okay. If I had to have them removed again, this is the only place I would go!

They are an awesome office! Each person from check-in to the dentist was kind, compassionate and caring. They did not rush my daughter or I and I loved that they could do the work needed right then and there. I appreciate not having to schedule another time and date for fillings and even a crown. Our whole family will know be going!
