Wehad previously gone to a dentist in North Kansas City. This dentist told both my husband and myself that we needed literally thousands of dollars worth of dental work between us. Fast forward… We went to Dr. Schaller. I was first and I did not tell Dr. Shaller anything that the other dentist told me needed done. After my cleaning and my x-rays I was told by Dr. Schaller that I only had one little old cavity that needed to be redone at some point. Of course I questioned him and ask if that is all he found.
He seemed quite surprised by my question and offered to show me the x-rays etc.
I explained to him my previous visit with the other dentist . He was very professional to not say anything negative about his colleague yet he assured me that none of that work needed to be done. My husband was told he needed even more work than I did. All of which was not true either.
In short, not only does Dr. Schaller and his staff do an amazing job HE IS HONEST. To me that is the greatest attribute.

The professional services are great. Dr. Schaller and the hygienists (Stacy, especially) are always kind and courteous. However, the front desk receptionist has become quite curt and rude in the last 6 months. I do not know if I did something to upset her (I hope not), but she cuts me off when I speak and nearly hangs up on me (I'll be mid-sentence and she will say, "Okay, bye-bye" and then hangs up before I finish my sentence or have time to say goodbye). It has happened often enough that I get the impression she would like for me to select another dental provider. If that is the case, she has succeeded. All 3 members of my family are switching to another dentist.

Dixie is so kind and always has the answers and is helpful. Overall great dentist and staff, although have had them be a little rough in my mouth in the past but I tell them and they adjust.
