Kingston Dental Care in St. Louis, MO

My appointment was on time. Very friendly an accommodating. Professional cleaning. X-rays were done. I’ll go back. Dentist was thorough and gentle.

Went in today. Was told I could use my original dental xray from another dentist a week ago emailed over so I wouldn't have to retake xrays. As soon as they sat me down they wanted xrays and didn't care to use the one I already had. So they acted like they would wave the xray fee. I already told the office upon making an appointment what I needed as told from to me from my original dentist that doesn't do root canals. I needed a root canal on my number 14 tooth and was in extreme pain. So they came back with a $1397 bill just for the root canal. The crown was actually cheaper at $1280 dollars.I was quoted $7 to $800 at two other dental offices I called for the same root canal. I also asked them how much it would be to remove the tooth and they quoted me over $300 when my original dentist said he would take it out for $140. This office totally tried to take advantage of the pain I am in and tried to overcharge a lot. I ended leaving with $75 less than I had originally to get my tooth fixed and nothing being done at all. You would think 5 minutes of doing nothing wouldn't cost $75. Do not waste your time or money at this office. I left feeling scammed.

So this part is a update to their reply-
I was told on the phone I could email the xray to you. I wouldn't expect you to look at my phone during my visit. Also saying that you couldn't look at it on the same Dell computer screen that you were looking at the xrays you took is being very untruthful. Being a computer nerd I paid close attention to your Dell Desktop computer with a Intel Core 2 Duo running Windows 7. You are right about one thing I paid $75 dollars for a very unhelpful office visit. I sat in a chair for about a half a hour total but was only talked to for about 5 total minutes total. 2 minutes for xray, about 1 minute for the Dentist to look in my mouth and say I need a root canal, and 2 minutes talking about the high price you wanted to charge. As far as serving me best helping with my existing problem and working to ensure I was helped in any manner to try to save my tooth or to remove it so I was out of pain would of been very professional thing to do and would have guaranteed a long term patient. Even when I said lets remove it and asked how much I was told a price over $300 which was over double what I had been quoted from other dentist. Please don't shift blame onto me for being honest with my experience. At $75 a half hour and not really doing anything or even suggesting somewhere else to go that is very high profit. The way the visit was structured it is set up for you to profit a lot even if you don't want to do any work. Lastly upon making the appointment I told the office I was going to be a cash paying customer.

Edita took great care of me and is very gentle. Dr Sam is great. Front desk girls Lejna and Anna amazing job. Great experience start to finish!!!!

Real bad place for business. My insurance cover 100% and the short lady with the dark hair wanna charge me 152 dollars for nothing. And when I say my insurance covers 100%. She say ok wait. Let me look. And she told me oooh you good now. You can go. People be careful to that lady.

Staff is very friendly and informative about what is going on. Flexible about payments for services. Dr Greif is great and always explains what he's doing so you're informed on the procedure

Dr. Sam Ruvinov and Dijana are terrific! Very attentive, patient and gentle. I highly recommend Dr. Sam and all the staff at Kingston Dental!

I look forward to going to the dentist. Everyone is friendly and Dr. Grief and Debbie saved my teeth. I didn't realize I had periodontal disease. My teeth and mouth feel great !! Everyone there is fantastic!!

Needed an Emergency tooth extraction Kingston Dental got me an appointment for that day and removed the tooth fast and pain free. Overall nice staff and facility.

This place is absolutely a money hungry scam!!! They took advantage of my brother and questioned him on his finances. He was in a lot of pain and they used that against him to charge him an insane amount.

I'm absolutely terrified of going into the dentist and since I've found Kingston I have a different outlook on the dentist I actually willing call and make an appointment Dr.Greif is so amazing and friendly I love this office so much I couldn't ask for a more gentle hygienist (Edjina) or a sweeter assistant (Cassie ) the girls at the front counter are so freaking sweet and the vibes are positive from the door to the dentist chair and you won't feel judged over your teeth I feel like I have a safe place here to not feel ashamed about my teeth -Haley Erxleben
