I brought my mom as a new patient, for cleaning exam and x-ray .We are both disappointed. took them almost an hour to start with an exam. After that the dentist said they can not do the cleaning as my mom would not benefit from regular cleaning, need to see periodontist. I overheard the phone calls and they kept saying to people that they don't have cleaning available at the time in the office. Still charged new patient special that should include cleaning ( which did not happen) $59. I would avoid this place.

I’m definitely not a dentist person but this place is very good!! I love coming to this place my boyfriend told me about it and they really work with you. So polite as well and honest. Tatiana and Shelly are very sweet! Doctor Howard is very open with information!

Mehlville Modern Dentistry was an exceptional experience. Let me just say i haven't been to the dentist in YEARS; Anxiety. Im a new patient, and was relieved when I was warmly welcomed to a modern office with fantastic staff! Everyone from the front desk staff, to the dental assistant, and finally the dentist were very informative and allowed for a relaxed atmosphere. Bruce Howard DMD was my dentist, and I will DEFINITELY be coming back. Thanks!

My appointment with the dentist and hygienist were not the issue. They were excellent. My problem is with the office staff. I was originally scheduled for oral surgery at the end of July. I called on a Friday or Saturday to cancel my oral surgery. I was nervous having never met the surgeon and decided to cancel the appointment I was told they would be keeping my $100 deposit because of the short notice (2 days). I politely told them they can’t do that, I called and it’s not my fault you’re closed Friday through Sunday. After a short discussion they agreed to refund my deposit. That was the end of July, I’m still waiting. I was told today that it was processed on August 15! It could still be up to 15 more days before I receive my refund. This is poor business practices and the office staff is going to cause the loss of patients.

Just wanted to state how amazing Dr. Smoljan and his assistants are! They were literally out this world!! First time ever getting a root canal and they were very patient,soft spoken and very encouraging and most of all the made sure I was absolutely comfortable. Ps I didn't feel a thing. No lie! If anyone ever needs a root canal Dr smoljan is the best around!! 👏👏👏

Like a lot of reviewers on here, I was told I need special cleaning for my teeth $800. I told Goldberg that I couldn’t afford it, appointment after appointment. After refusing it so many times, him and the staff’s tone changed. I was told I either pay for the $800 cleaning or they don’t want to see me anymore. It’s disappointing that they’re trying to make a huge profit off of someone’s healthcare. If you research “Smile Generation” you’ll see where a lot of people are saying the same thing. They need to be shut down.

Will not be back. Made an appointment for a cleaning and to have a tooth pulled, after being there in the chair for 3 1/2 hours they had only cleaned half my mouth. Took another hour to get the tooth pulled and then they made me make a sec appointment for the other half of my mouth. Here i am today for my sec appointment at 8am and the lady at the front desk puts a sign up at 7:50 and says i’ll be back later. Worst rating i have ever given anyone but I strongly don’t recommend this office.

Went there 8/17/20 for a standard cleaning. Left there with teeth looking worse. It's all a bait and hook. Goldberg tried to sell me an intense cleaning, which i didn't need, or want. Then his helper started to polish my teeth. At which time i asked her why are you doing that before removing the plaque on my teeth. And she replied every office does it differently. That's when i knew for sure something is not right. Couldn't get outta there fast enough. People, find yourself a real dental office. This place is a SHAM! Which explains why they have you sign all those liability waivers. Signing all those waivers makes it difficult to sue them for malpractice. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

It's a clean, modern look and pretty spacious front lobby and receptionist area. Clean and organized hallways and patient rooms. They have taken steps to help customers feel safe and comfortable. All of the staff I met are friendly, nice, professional and caring.

I was the last patient of the day, and you could tell. The dentist didn't record any information of my yearly visit in my chart, couldn't remember which tooth had a cracked filling and made my gums bleed so badly he had to use gauze. I've never e had such hurried, rough treatment.
