I had been going to Capital Dental since my previous provider had retired. I will not be going back. In January, I had to have a couple of crowns put in. I received a text message stating that, since it was the beginning of the year, my insurance benefits had renewed, the cost I was going to be paying was just shy of $1500. I then made an appointment to get them done and when I arrived, they asked for $2500? I said that I had received a message stating that my cost was going to be $1500. Their response was that they we re-checking my insurance, but if that was the quote, they would work with me. Fast forward to the end of the procedure. As I was getting up out of the chair, I was thanking Dr. Killeen and he mentioned that they would be honoring the original quote that they gave me. I went up front to pay my bill and was asked to pay $2000. I said that I had just spoken to Dr. Killeen and he said that you would be honoring the original quote. One of the front desk workers went in the back and spoke with Dr. Killeen, and came back and said all I owed was the $1500. I paid that amount and figured the issue was over. About three months after, I received a bill in the mail for $1000. I called and asked what it was about and they said they would be looking into it and getting back to me. When they called back, I said that I payed what was quoted and that Dr. Killeen said he would honor that. After thinking the issue was over, I get a call from a collections agency, saying that they had placed my account with them in order to get paid. I informed the collection agency of the situation, and they said to contact Capital Dental as it must be a misunderstanding. Nope. Capital Dental is insisting that I pay the extra $1000. If you are thinking of going to Capital Dental, I would suggest finding another provider. It will save you future headaches.

I have gone to several different dentist offices in Lincoln trying to find the right fit for me. Most were nice enough, but there was always something that just didn't work. After seeing several people post about Capital Dental in a public FB group, I decided to schedule and give them a shot. I can honestly say this was the BEST dental visit I've ever had! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They take time with you and listen, they don't rush. If you are someone who struggles with anxiety at the dentist, they would put you at ease. I've never had such a wonderful and positive experience previously. So glad I decided to give them a go! You won't be sorry.
