This morning I broke a tooth and needed to be seen right away. The ladies at Academy Dental were so incredibly friendly and did their very best to get me seen immediately. The doctor was very friendly, knowledgeable, and well-spoken. Not only will I be returning but I am moving my whole family over to Academy Dental. They are friendly, and professional and have a relaxing, positive environment. You can tell that they really care about their patients and that means a lot to me.

Academy Dental Care certainly is the best in Albuquerque. I have been to many dental offices in the past but none compare to them. The office is always so clean and peaceful. I enjoy music by artists such as Robert Plant & Alison Krauss or Jack Johnson with sips of my complimentary coffee or tea in the waiting room while waking up. The warmth of the office staff is worth the visit alone. Ever proving themselves as the backbone of this operation, the dental hygienists stand out through their hard work and dedication to comfort and perfection. As someone with sensitive teeth and receding gums I didn't know a dental cleaning could be relaxing until I met them. Berta always keeps me up to date on any new flossing or brushing techniques/recommendations she learns about in the national dentistry conferences she attends. Knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail is easily seen in both Dr. Charles Gallagher and Dr. Chelsea Gonzales. Whether it be Dr. Gallagher restoring a decayed filling I originally had done as a child or Dr. Gonzales guiding me through Invisalign, I always feel in good hands.

This place was too perfect for me. I needed a new dentist and the 5 star review made me try this one. It took 2 hours for my first appointment. Yeah I get it, you get an evaluation and they do x-rays and what not. Then every time I went after, there was always a cavity or some other issue. I spent more than $200 alone the first month I was here.
After looking at my gums, the lady who did my teeth said "Healthy gums don't bleed" my other dentist never complained about my straight teeth and gums.
I have great teeth and floss twice a day. Then the gossip while getting a filling was enough to turn me off and find someone else, which I did. Of course you won't find my name "Lynn" in your system. Not that I would use my full name for these reviews. Dont worry you will still have a great score.

I think anyone would be hard pressed to say they loved a dentist appointment, but I can honestly say that the staff at Academy Dental Care makes any visit an enjoyable one. From the receptionist to the dentists, I have always left there smiling. Occasionally it has been a lopsided smile, but even fillings are not a stressful event because of the cheerful and friendly staff. They even call to check up the next day. My family of five has been going there for years and have never had a bad experience.

I had a partial that didn’t feel right that I needed to get fixed as soon as possible. I called the office and they got me in as right away because it was an emergency. Nicole was so nice and positive. She assured me that she could take care it. Dr Gonzales asked me some questions and was able to take care of it. I am so glad that everything was so easy for me, and I left in such a great mood. Tell everyone thanks for treating me so well.
