TruCare Dental

I had a tooth extraction this morning and had my partial fixed earlier this year! The staff at TruCare dental were amazing both visits and actually the best medical care I have ever received, polite, professional and listens to my needs, from the receptionist all the way to the Doctor! Thank you so much for the painless procedure! You all Rock!

I want to thank tru care for the work they did on me today. I went there for a second opinion after another dentist messed up and left me in pain for a few weeks. Tru care did numerous xrays to make sure everything was good and made sure i was numb and comfortable when pulling my tooth. The assistant was even nice enough to hold my hand. They did everything in their power to make me comfortable and happy. I recommend them to anyone.

I've never had such great care! Everyone I've come in contact with there has been friendly, warm and comforting. The Doctor is amazing at what he does. Not a bit of pain (and my teeth were pretty badly jacked up, going in initially, tbh) I was so scared to go in because of past experiences with other dentists, but I cannot recommend TruCare Dental on Wyoming Blvd., Abq, NM., highly enough.

This is the best dentist in town hands down!!! Dr. Rainey is very delightful and delicate while caring for you. Her assistant Emer was not only extra helpful but doubled as a simple counselor listener.. Thank you for all of your help on to a brighter smile.

It was a professional , friendly , informative visit .the staff was kind , helpful and listened with patient-centered and humility . The doctor was outstanding with communication to the patient but also with empowering the staff when working with multiple patients I'd recommend the office for sure. Top notch facility .Bravo .

Always get the best care and treatment from the ladies at TruCare. They have always been more than accommodating when I've needed to be seen. Not a fan of dentistry at all but have always had superior service with their team!! Thanks for all you guys do!!

I had an excellent experience during my teeth cleaning. My hygienist, Natasha, was exceptional. She was very thorough with cleaning and polishing my teeth. Though all teeth cleanings are uncomfortable, Natasha was gentle and careful not to tip me so far backwards to the point that I would feel like I was drowning when my mouth was rinsed.

First, they incorrectly scheduled me twice. I had an appointment on Friday called to verify, and they told me I was never scheduled. Okay I'll give them that one, maybe a glitch or something. So I rescheduled for Monday. Showed up for my appointment Monday and I wasn't scheduled, they said they showed me for Friday. They fixed it and had me wait for about an hour or so. No big major deal, but still inconvenient.

I went in because a filling popped out and I needed it refilled. Well they did x-rays and the whole bit and when the dentist came in they just proceeded to tell me how several teeth needed root canals and extractions. To which they are incorrect. I saw and have had many x-rays done and many other dentists work on my teeth. This is a first. I was shocked and after they mentioned well we will set up a payment plan for you I asked "what about the filling?" (the problem I came in with). The dentist responded "what tooth was that on?"
Went to another dentist and had the filling job done and told him about my experience and he just chuckled and said he was glad I didn't agree to that ridiculousness.

They're after your money, sadly. A 50 to 100 dollar filling job is no where near the 7000+ they wanted to charge me and my insurance.

Go elsewhere.

Usually, if I care enough to review at all, my post is comprehensive, and detailed
like no other. But, this is important...and so here it is, "quick and dirty": TruCare Docs have helped me figure out a treatment plan. It will take months. I am truly "Dentist-phobic", and I was worried about compliance longer term. Now, after 2 painless, anxiety-free appointments, (including 8 extractions! ), in company with what feels like *no judgement and sincere respect* I know I will be able to smile again. If you have any dental anxiety, or concerns about being treated poorly because you've got "no teeth or no money", call. Just call, ask questions. Make the appointment and then show up. Dr. P. and her team, as well as *every single person* in the office-- have invariably treated me with nothing but respect, understanding, and compassion. *Even the money (billing) lady!* Wow. Just wow, is all I can say. To be continued...with a new smile!

Friendly, Clean, Quiet Dentistry: The nurse, hygienist, and dentist were all very nice and professional. I've had bad previous experiences with ABQ and Rio Rancho Denstists. I highly reccomened coming to this dental office because it was comfortable, and they met every need I had. On top of that, they extracted a broken root canal for me no problems and they were probably the best dentist I have ever been to. They make sure all your needs are met and they make sure to ask if you want sedation for oral surgery.
