They were great very understanding got me in and out and we're very thorough good at explaining everything they were doing dr umphlett was amazing on working on my teeth and her assistant Gertrude was also very good and kind and thorough and their treatment coordinator Kimberly was very well at explaining what my insurance covered and getting me in for my next appointment so I would definitely give them a 5 star for overall everything. Would highly recommend this place for anyone that needs to get a cleaning or even any dental work done.

I don’t give 5 stars very often but this Dental office deserves them! Staff is friendly & professional. Dr Valdez has taken great care of me. I almost look forward to going to the dentist now. Highly recommend this team!

This Dental Office has a great dentist and a superb staff. Everyone from Melissa and Liz the receptionists/office staff, to their dental hygienist to the dental assistant are not only super professional but absolutely heart felt caring in their services.

I have never been to a dentist office where first the dental assistant talks to you and helps you relax emotionally before your procedure until I have come here. Then the Dental Hygienist actually gives you the numbing shots in such a gentle way, you feel as though your mother is feeding you a good dinner or something. They hardly hurt at all and she was so soothing in her voice and manner, I felt very cared for in the most expert way.

Then there's the dentist himself, Dr. Esmael Valdez, who is not only good looking, but has a very pleasant and reassuring "chair-side" manner. AND he totally knows what he is doing. Before I knew it, he extracted my tooth. Honestly, I just think he's a magician/dentist.

Needless to say, I would rate this place extremely high. And if you have to go to the dentist, which we all must do, THIS IS THE PLACE.

If I could give a zero star rating I would without any hesitation. Divine Dental was one of the worst let downs I've experienced from a "professional" dental facility. I called Divine Dental verified that they did indeed except Medicaid told them I had Medicaid, explained my situation, and got scheduled promptly. That brought a great sense of relief as one of my teeth has recently broke in half. When I got there I was given new patient paperwork and after filling it out and giving them my insurance card I got called to the the front but only to be told that they were sorry and weren't accepting any new Medicaid patients!!!! I can't explain the amount of let down, sadness and anger I felt in that very moment. Here I am thinking I was going to get medical help for my broken tooth and especially after having read hundreds of great reviews on them I was confident I was actually walking into a reputable facility that cared not only about patients who can afford dental services but also individuals on the low income end. I asked to talk to the manager and basically just got told by her- "I'm sorry, we get very busy I'll make sure to go over this with all employees so it doesn't happen again." No compensation whatsoever for their mistake or wasting my time. They couldn't even make an exception for me instead they made it seem as if it was somehow partially my fault by insinuating there must of been some sort of miscommunication when my first exchange of words ever when speaking to Divine Dental over the phone was the question- Hi, do you accept Medicaid? So heres my response to that and so that everyone can be aware of the UNETHICAL experience I had with this place especially Medicaid recipients. If any one with Medicaid is thinking of scheduling with Divine Dental I recommend recording the phone call and telling them at least 3 times within the phone call that you are on Medicaid and that's your form of payment so you don't have to go through what I did. Absolutely horrible. Makes me believe the very few but other evident low ratings on here.

They get the job done and are generally pleasant, however, I'm glad I've gone somewhere else. In my experience, Divine Dental is very by the book and will not explore treatment options. They were set on root planing and scaling and two crowns. I waited for months to hear back about a pre-approval from my insurance from them and when I called they claimed it had been denied and they would send it again. They went ahead and scheduled me another appointment only to call 10 min before to tell me they had not heard back from my insurance and to reschedule. After all this I called my insurance and it turns out they never sent the first request and had only sent it the 'second' time about three days before my appointment. Not only did they lie to me but they didn't even give me the courtesy of 24 hours notice that they rightfully ask of their patients when cancelling an appointment. I went to this office based off their raving reviews, but I think it's worth noting that they provide regular incentives like raffling a trip to Costa Rica in exchange for a review.

Awesome experience. Dr. Umphelett is a great doc, kind, patient, and always willing to help. She has made going to the dentist (normally not a fun thing) a pleasant experience. Definitely would recommend! The rest of the staff is very awesome as well.

I Love Divine dental! My helper today was Kim and she was very friendly! I watched netflix while I waited for my Dr, Esmael Valdez, and even had a consult because my teeth are moving. Sonia helped me out with financial plans for clear correct. I would really recommend them to any friends and family with my experiences here at divine dental, I've been coming here for 5+ years.

I have been to Divine Dental on two occasions. For the first occasion the appointment was to fill a cavity. My appointment was at 10:30 after filling out the new patient paperwork I waited a half hour until I was seen. Once I was brought to the back the dental assistant took xrays. I then was left in the room alone until 12:00 when the doctor came in and said I had an additional 2 cavities and my existing cavity needed a crown. They then said that they couldn’t do no fillings or crowns today and could only do a cleaning. This whole meeting with the doctor took about 10 minutes then he disappeared again. They then told me that the hygienist was busy and to go to Lunch and come back at 1:30 for my cleaning. The cleaning was fine and I set up my appointment for my crown and fillings. I was mostly mad that I wasted 10:30 to 2:30 at the dentist office. I gave them a 2nd chance because I figured maybe they were understaffed or just having a busy day. During the time In between appointments I kept the good care of my teeth since I was in shock of my 2 new cavities. For the time of 2nd appointment I didn’t have the same doctor from the 1st appointment instead I had Dr.Valdez. I experienced the same thing I did last appointment with the dentist and assistants leaving me in the room and having to wait 30-45 minutes between seeing the dentist or having the assistant work on my teeth. Dr.Valdez came in and insisted that he take new xrays (my insurance only covered 1 X-ray a year and I had to pay out of pocket) he then goes on to say that I have more cavities and they all need crowns. When I took care of my teeth so well I don’t see how new cavities can happen.he also said that the previous dentist from appointment 1 who said I have 2 cavities was a bad dentist and he said he felt like he did my dental exam “with his eyes closed” I then proceeded to get the most painful crown of my life. With my ending up with blood all over my face and shirt. Dr. Valdez then now says I have 15 cavities which I found impossible. I didn’t not agree and after he finished my crown I left divine dental and went to a new dentist. My new dentist said there was no 15 cavities and even suggests that my crown was unnecessary. I feel like Dr. Valdez and Devine Dental is a scam. He will say you have something wrong with Teeth just so you will have to pay for a new procedure. I will never recommend this place and are currently reporting them to the New Mexico Board of dentistry
