I have never been to a dentist office where they do the x-rays and make you come back a different day for the cleaning not only that when you were a member of an insurance you're supposed to accept the assignment of what the insurance pays for not accept with the insurance gives you and try to get money out of a customer for services you're supposed to accept what they give you. They want you to come back three and four times so they could get more money out of your insurance I will never go back and I will not tell any friends to go there. The doctor was very nice.

Canandaigua location review:
Best staff & customer service! They make you feel comfortable and take the worry out of the dentist! If you dread going to the dentist, the staff at the Canandaigua location will change your mind! They work with you to decide the best treatment for you and never try to get you to pay for any work you don't need!

I’ve been at Aspen dental several times in the past couple years. Always a good experience, professional, accommodating, and very pleasant. My fav person is Fary I think that’s how you spell it. She’s top notch and the Dentist is so personable

I called for an appointment stating that I had a toothache. They gave me an appointment for the next day. I had to leave work early to get there. They took x-rays then had me sit and wait for the dentist. She came in, looked at my tooth and left. I then sat there for an hour until they took me back out to the front desk where they tried to sell me thousands of dollars worth of dental work I didn't want, then proceeded to tell me that I had to come back for another appointment to have work done on my tooth. All I wanted was to get rid of the toothache and now I'm sitting at home in pain for the long Thanksgiving weekend until I can get into my regular dentist. Lesson learned! I will never go to Aspen dental again nor will I recommend it to even my worst enemy!
Thanks for nothing!

Went for a new patient appointment expecting xrays and a cleaning. Only got xrays and a 5 minute exam from the dentist and was informed I needed a "deep cleaning" for gingivitis. We have GREAT insurance and our was going to cost $425 AFTER INSURANCE! I looked at the fees and they wanted to charge me $135 for an oral b toothbrush. I feel scammed. Not to mention this deep cleaning requires two separate appointments. I'll be getting a second opinion from a different dentist to see if my gingivitis warrants a deep cleaning. I have nothing bad to say about any employee- they were all professional and courteous but this place feels like a car dealership.

Honestly wont go back.
I went there for tooth pain and was quoted a bill that had things on it I did not need like a tooth brush I already own. The staff barely acknowledge me, the dentist did not even look at me to ask where my pain was she just looked at my xray and was like bet your pain is on the left. Then when I went back to get some fillings they put numbing jell in my mouth that was flavored and did not ask me my flavor preference and I gag with coconut flavors and thats the flavor she chose without asking. I asked the assistant after it was in if I was crazy or was this flavored and she said "Oh yeah, its pinna colata, we have strawberry and bubblegum too".
Ive had dozens of fillings in my life and have never hurt so bad after the procedure as I do now. It has been a week and my jaw still hurts.
Then the best part is I asked the billing/booking receptionist a question about one of the teeth they said need a root canal could not have a crown and she said "It's only $850 with your insurance." I said $850 is a lot of money for me and she said "Well if the tooth really is bothering you can just have it pulled and then get a replacement down the road"
I would rather go to an out of network dentist then deal with these snobby women again. They really are the kind of people that make not go to the dentist.

I feel the tools looked dingy (I'm sure they were clean, just old) and I wish there was more privacy with the x-ray process. You are in an open room facing the reception desk and your results are displayed for all to see. The people at the desk seem stand-offish but the hygienist and x-ray tech were nice. Dentist seemed knowledgeable and may have caught things my previous dentist did not...or was trying to make $$ by pushing unnecessary procedures. Hard to tell.

My emergency appointment was scheduled the same day. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was examined, prescribed penicillan and referred to an endodontist. Also all this was free because we don't have dental insurance. We had scheduled an appointment with our previous dentist since we moved and didn't know anyone here, but will probably end up changing eventually since it is three hours away.

The only problem is that it was difficult to get the X-ray equipment around my infected molar and it ended causing bruising and swelling in that area. I waited to submit the review because I wanted to see if there would be further problems from this. Otherwise I would have given five stars instead of four.

I went there for 2 fillings everyone was nice. My doctor was very quiet hard to hear her but very professional. I was scared heard a lot of bAd things about aspen dental but she did a great job. The lobby needs cleaning other than that I can't wait for my next visit. Thank all of you!

Office and personal are very nice. However they were a bit to insistent that I have an expensive fluoride treatment which I turned down. Also, no dentist came into look at my mouth after the cleaning. Everywhere else I have ever gone a dentist looked at my teeth. It was okay
