Dentists' Office of The Hudson Valley

I have been going there ever since they were at the Mall eons ago. Used to always have appts with "Dr Joe" with great service. Now, for who knows, more then a decade?, it seems like I am treated by different people everytime I go. Staff is usually pleasant and efficient. This time it was super rough around the edges though. Everybody can have a bad day, so I doesnt allow me to give a bad review, unless it contines. Heck, even when I missed an appt and they were kind enough to reschedule me, when I screwed up.

Boy oh boy, "dentist office manager Justine" must be VERY busy from
taking all of the calls from unhappy patient's in these reviews.
Perhaps there are a few decent dentists here, I only saw one, Dr. Oh.
He and his assistant were so cold, so rushed, so annoyed with any questions.
Let's just say that there is no time for bedside manner at this place, not with those two anyway.
If you did ask a question -you had to do it quickly before they left the room again.
I just sat there with my mouth open for numerous X-rays thinking "why did I choose this place? Oh no, what have I done? they aren't listening, they are running in and out of the room, you can hear him with different patients in next room... the list goes on, it was a lonely & frightening experience for certain.
The only calming moment was at the front desk speaking with one of the front desk girls who seemed genuinely concerned to hear this and also did not seem surprised.
She didn't say it, but I saw it in her expression as I relayed the experience to her.
I did hear that there is a great dentist there named Dr. Conde, but I didn't have the luck of seeing her.
It is very obvious that it is a factory dentist facility like Aspen Dental, but perhaps private in ownership.
Not sure about that, but I can promise you it FEELS like the same kind of place and that is all that matters.
I also find it odd that on the "statement of services rendered" that the dentists name is not even listed.
It is as if you walk in and get the luck (or non luck) of the draw.

I can't say going to the dentist have ever been fun. That being said, I have been going to The Dentists' Office of the Hudson Valley ever since moving to the area. It is conveniently located. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. The cost is very reasonable and the facilities are up to date with recent technology.

Dr. Kim is the best! He makes you feel comfortable and talks you through the procedures step by step. And the results are great! I wouldn't go to anyone else! 😀

Great place, lived the staff and my dentist and hygienist. I was death afraid of the dentist, I had a horrible experience when I was younger.
Let me tell you the doctor I see for my dental clean , or exam is perfect, speaks calm and clear and showed me how a dentist should behave.
The orall surgeon is a.aizing, literally no after treat that stops me from working, I have five
teeth remove three hours ago and I'm okay, gotta wait for the stille have flowers, and kisses little man.

I absolutely love this office. I have never had a problem however today I called with an emergency and the RECEPTIONIST Elaine was extremely unprofessional and rude. She actually told me to go to a different office if I didn’t like what she said and then when I asked to speak to her boss she said” have a nice day” and HUNG up on me.

Always had excellent service from them.

The dentist and hygienists are nice and friendly. WATCH OUT FOR THE RECEPTIONISTS!! They dont know how to even enter your insurance information correctly. Or even at all. They never submitted ANYTHING to my insurance company . They lied and said they filed a claim with my insurance company about a cap back on November. 4th...TODAY JANUARY 7TH 2020 is when the put the request in AFTER I had my small filling. Which when checking out they said I had a balance due from my cleaning back in November.. They never submitted ANYTHING to my insurance company. I know. I had to call and verify and do the receptionists job. Please make sure you know whats covered and how much and ask for costs. They tried to "bill" me for something that was totally covered.

Honestly I never thought I would ever in my 49 years write a dental review let alone a five star one! The entire office staff is stellar, especially Athena and Melissa. I have had nothing but continual positive experiences, understanding and excellent work done on my children and myself. The Pediatric dentist, Dr. Byran is a rare find and truly a gift to the profession. Dr. Oh and Dr. Yoo are equally stellar. I was moved to write this after my eldest's 3 wisdom teeth were removed on college break, my youngest with special needs and as well as myself were treated with the utmost care and attention. Each Nurse/Dental Assistant that I have met has been so kind. Particularly I am grateful to Nurse Debby for her knowledge and compassion. After 21 yrs with same dentist in nyc, this Dental office is in keeping, if not ahead, of the progression of dental work in so many areas. Most importantly they respect each patient and work with true integrity. Thank you to all at the Dentist's Office of The Hudson Valley. Sincerely.

Tried to get an emergency appointment, but unable to book until June?? Then got hung up on. What is the point of advertising emergency services when you do not really offer it?
