Dentists' Office of The Hudson Valley

Every time i have been the staff is always super friendly and professional.
The office from side walk to dental chairs and back are clean and an enjoyable experience. Dr. Koh and Kelly made my last visit as comfy as can be while getting fillings.

Our 4 & 6 year olds had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brian... what a wonderful personality and very professional doctor! Our girls look forward to their next appointment and have been excited to brush and floss every day since! Lori was his dental assistant and she was wonderful also.

I took my 11-year-old daughter here because she needed two baby teeth extracted prior to getting braces, and it was the only place that accepted our insurance. The experience was okay, the tooth extraction was done well and my kid is fine. I was able to get her in fairly quickly because I pushed to see the oral surgeon as opposed to the pediatric dentist (there was a long wait for the pediatric dentist...) Even though the experience was mediocre and the staff was not super friendly, I was going to move my older daughter to this practice too, until yesterday.

I had to reschedule a cleaning for both my girls. When I called the soonest they could get the girls in is September (it's March). Apparently there are five dental hygienists, but still takes this long to get the appointments rescheduled. I feel like this is a red flag. Is their waiting list THAT long? If they wait six months, then that's a year in between cleanings all because I had to reschedule one cleaning. I've never experienced this kind of difficulty rescheduling a cleaning with any dentist either for myself or my children.

My only option was to put the girls on a wait list and hope that the office calls me soon so they can get their teeth cleaned before autumn. I might be able to live with this, but the receptionist who I spoke with was very rude. She implied it was my fault that I had to wait this long because I had to reschedule the appointment. I get that I may have to wait - I'm okay with a month or even two - but six months? The entire experience has motivated me to try to find another dentist for my kids - yet again - as well as warn people away from this practice if they can avoid it.

I Must say my dental experience at this office was the best care I’ve had in 55 years of going to dentist. The teamwork by assistant’s and Dr. Kim were like a fine tuned machine.Also the confidence in my dentist was and chairside manner were 10 Stars!! Any questions I had were answered,and the Dr. actually had time to answer everything I asked. I’ve never had this kind of service before. I now look forward to seeing Dr. Kim and his team again. I have a child that no matter how diligent we are, has issues with cavities in her teeth. We tried a couple of dentists in the area, but always left feeling as unsettled and as equally anxious as our daughter felt. It had gotten to the point where she wouldn’t allow anyone look in her mouth.

Today we visited Dr. Bryan Hinkle and can honestly describe the experience as redeeming and healing.

Dr. Hinkle is kind, confident and so easy to trust. My daughter immediately felt at ease with him, as he playfully and genuinely engaged in her, and gently led her through the appointment.

She ended up needing an unexpected tooth extraction but Dr. Hinkle with focus and grace, removed the tooth swiftly and with MINIMAL discomfort. When we left the office my daughter said ‘I love Dr. Bryan, can he please be my new dentist?’

I couldn’t be happier. He is heaven sent for kids!!! I only wish he treated adults. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was a new patient going for the first time. Their staff did not tell me that I needed to be there 15min early to fill out paperwork, and when I arrived they had canceled my appointment because I wasn’t 15min early, even though I was on time for my appointment. NOT COOL.

Great experience. Had Dr Friedman cut a 4 tooth bridge in half because rear tooth had decayed and needed extraction. He extracted the tooth and put an implant in the extracted tooth space and another in the space the bridge spanned. Over the next 3 months the implants setup and after one session of imprints, the new caps were fitted to the implant studs and fit perfectly. Other than a polish I was off and running. No pain issues throughout the entire ordeal. He did a great job and is highly recommended.

My entire family goes to the dentist office, and we've never had a bad experience. The last appt was for our 5 yr old son and the dentist who took care of him (I think his name was Bryan?) was nothing short of amazing with him. Our son wanted nothing to do with being there and Bryan for down on his level and was able to clean his teeth. Great job!!!

I just experience the worst experience at the Dentist’s Office of the Hudson Valley. The receptionist was probably the most rude person I have ever experienced! My son was scheduled today for his 6 month check up. Because we had moved, I called on Monday to confirm my appointment and give my new contact information & was told we were set for today. When we arrived after a 45 minute drive we were told our appointment had been canceled on Monday and someone had called. This was not the case. I am home all day every day during this pandemic and no one called. They said they could not see us even thought my son was having tooth pain because of the Covid 19 situation and if I was lucky, I could call back next week maybe they could fit us in in November! The receptionist was actually screaming! I have never experienced such incompetence, such rudeness and such inattention to a patient. I do not recommend this office & we will be looking for another provider.

I am that person who genuinely fears the dentist. I have not gone in almost a decade! Unfortunately, I had an emergency and needed to be seen asap. I contacted over 7 offices and THIS OFFICE accommodated me in every way!

I needed an extraction done on a dead tooth and all I could play in my head was Steve Martin singing "DENTIST!" to me from the movie Little Shop of Horrors. Well that wasn't the case at all. The staff, from reception to the dentist made everything so comforting and soothing. Just the right amount of numbing and they spoke to me throughout the process assuring my safety and comfort levels!

For someone who has such a fear, i already scheduled my 6 month check up. I am glad for this place and the staff!
