I have finally found a dental office that actually listens to their patients and it is such a wonderful feeling! I was having a great deal of discomfort and anxiety surrounding my dental experience yet I was thrilled to learn that the entire team at Gentle Dental listened to my needs and did everything they could to help me glide through the process.

First let me say that I never write reviews, and that isn’t because I’m never happy anywhere, but because I just never seem to find the time. I work full time and I’m a mom. My experience with Gail and Dr Ly was one I could not let go unnoticed. I get nervous going to a new dentist, past experiences have caused me to fear judgement and embarrassment. Gail could not have been nicer or more accommodating when I called to schedule my first appointment and Dr Ly was just amazing. He made me feel comfortable right away, he was caring and kind and I never felt judged not even once. I will for sure continue going to this office and continue seeing Dr Ly for as long as I possibly can. Thank you for making me feel welcomed and comfortable and most importantly for me, not judged in any way. You guys have restored my faith in dentists and I will forever be grateful for your kindness.

Dr. Ly and his staff are very professional and kind. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for any kind of dental work or for a primary dentist.

We needed an emergency appointment for a a severe infection, not only were they extremely accommodating, but extremely sensitive to the pain factor. They unfortunately do not take my dental insurance but are so willing to work with you, that I doubt I will ever go any where else but here. I have complete trust in the care they provide. I look forward to the next visit with their incredibly pleasant staff

I have a very unique and complicated situation and have been having ongoing dental issues since March and it is now September. All separate issues that keep arising due to an underlying health condition. I have had extensive work done by Dr Ly and words can’t describe how incredible he has been through such a frustrating time in my life. My second visit with him I had a procedure involving an infection and placing a bridge and was there for 5 hours. Dr Ly and Alex could not have made me feel more at ease and comfortable during that procedure. Since that procedure I have been there almost every week for other procedures. Dr Ly is always completely honest, kind, and has the patience of a saint. Always takes time to answer my questions and does anything and everything he can to help me. His bedside manor is outstanding and that makes all of the difference in the world when your going through what I have. He truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. I also want to say that the staff at the Wading River office (Gale, Nadine, and Alex) have gone above and beyond for me. Alex has assisted with all of my procedures and always listens to my concerns and makes me feel comfortable. Gale and Nadine have gone out of their way to squeeze me in for appointment after appointment now matter what they have to do to make it happen. They follow up with me not because they have to but because they truly care. Thank you all so much for everything you have done for me these past 7 months! I highly recommend!

A truly lovely office and experience. While the innate unpleasantness of dental work is hard to skirt around, Dr. Ly and his staff abate such negative feelings as much as possible. Consummate professionalism delivered with warm and comforting demeanors.
