Great experience. The doctor really takes his time to speak to you and examine your teeth.The dental hygienist also took her time and cleaned my teeth exceptionally well. For the rest of the day, my teeth felt polished and sparkly clean. Everyone at the clinic is very nice. Parking is convenient.

I initially chose City Dental because of Dr. Walsh's bio on the website as I am also a science nerd. But as someone who's never been a fan of the dentist, I was very pleased with my experience. There is a TV to watch while getting your teeth cleaned, which is a huge perk. All of the staff were very friendly and made the process enjoyable. I'll definitely be going back.

I love going to City Dental! They always tell me exactly what I need and what to do to keep my teeth perfect and healthy. I always have a pleasant experience there, everyone is extremely sweet, and they make you feel at home. The location is near uptown, so it's very convenient having them so close to my job. Their space is lovely inside, and super clean!

Great Experience!
I recently located to Charlotte and was looking for a dental practice that was close to my office. I am very particular about dentists - bad childhood experiences that still haunt me 25 years later.
1. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable-even had a good conversation about topics other than teeth. I got some local insights to check out.
2. I haven't had a cavity in at least 15 years, darn you southern sweet tea! So when Dr. Walsh said I had a small cavity, which sent back to my 6 year old scared me, but he cleaned and filled it quickly without any problems.
3. Office is conveniently located near major roadways and ample parking on site. I could only find an elevator leading to the entrance of the practice on the second floor. I think there may be an internal stair somewhere if you don't like elevators....as a NYer - public exterior elevators always give me the heebeegeebees, BUT the elevator here was clean and no funky smells (SUBWAYS TAKE NOTE!)
4. Office is clean, but it's more comforting than the typical sterile feel you usually have at a dentist office - ugh, imagining that smell from my childhood again.
As you can tell, I usually don't like dentists, but with an experience like I had today, I come back anytime :)

I went to City Dental looking for a new dentist as I recently moved to CLT. When I arrived, even after telling them that my previous dentist had been monitoring my teeth’s tricky spots for years, they pressed me to have several fillings immediately - without prioritizing highest to lowest or giving me much detail. I was turned off and left without scheduling another appointment. Then, I received upwards of ten harassing emails and phone calls about my “upcoming treatment that needed to be scheduled,” even though I said that I didn’t feel comfortable with the treatment plan after the appointment and was uninterested and asked not to be called.
If you are looking for a family dentist who cares about you and your dental health rather than making money off of you, this is not the place for you.
